My favorite scene in Obsession is actually the end credits with the upside down, static T.V showing the helping hands, cast of the film and production while Nikki cries in the background with the song playing over it. There's something charming about it despite the circumstances.

I don't like Nikki crying, that sucks and shitty and fuck Bear, obviously. But I love the juxtaposition of the song being a lovey, sweet one, the way we're just made to sit and listen to the aftermath, and the T.V existing to tell you the composers of this story.

Similarly, I also like the beginning of the movie for the same reason. When Bear cleans his house and dead cat, when he sits on his bed and cries and we see the blanket say 'OBSESSION'.

I like this idea of the tilte of the movie, or the production behind it being shown in plain sight while the characters are seemingly oblivious to its existence.
