What is Faun fundraising for?
Recently (as in, we just got out of court) we had to fight a restraining order my oldest brother filed against my dad (committing perjury) after assaulting him and exacerbating his heart conditions, putting him in the hospital for two days. My mom is also now in the hospital, having fluid drained from her lungs because of her lupus worsening her ILD and congestive heart failure (all, her doctors said, caused by extreme and recent stress, which would be the unstable and abusive living situation).
Hiring a lawyer costs a lot of money; weāre looking at a pile of fees right now. Both my parents are disabled: my mom has been diagnosed with lupus since 2008 and my dad has had three strokes since 2015, leaving him unable to work, along with a stent in his heart due to plaque build up, and severe arthritis in his back. And Iāve been fighting with the state to file for disability for about four months, for myself.
Weāre not even close to done yet; we have to force a sale of the house (like I said - unstable living situation, house was passed down through a will to five kids, my mom and her siblings, and otherwise we wonāt have the funds to move) and that also requires money for a lawyer. And though pandemic unemployment and disability has certainly helped us get by, it isnāt enough to sustain these types of fees and a four person family. Not for long.
I know everyone is going through tough times right now, and I donāt expect anything from anyone, I know we all have bills to pay and devils due to make (whether thatās figuratively or literally ĀÆ\_(ć)_/ĀÆ) but a like, reblog or donating whatever you can means the world to me.
Iām offering tarot and oracle card readings to meet the fundraising goal of $500, and Iāll be continuing to take readings past this goal because as it stands:
Family Lawyer: $3500 total
Estate Lawyer: $1500 retainer; unsure of further costs.
If you need proof or explanation of each of these expenses, please message me. I have no problem providing documentation (that I can) or any supporting information.
These are all the current fees I will be trying to help make ends meet with. My prices:
Question, card. Another card is another $1.
You ask the question, I pull three cards. If you ask for a specific spread (past, present, future for example) I can do that, if not I will do a general, current-event spread.
Same deal as three card pull. If you donāt ask for a specific spread (ie: past, present, future) Iāll read the cards as a story of sorts for your current event/or your question.
I debated on the price because of how long a celtic cross takes me (and how much concentration and energy) but I also donāt want to go too high. Celtic cross is simple: ask the question, I do the spread. Celtic cross covers pretty much everything you might need to know about a situation.
If you want to donate without taking a reading, you can use my kofi OR privately message me for my PayPal or Venmo, as both of them have my information on them and Iām uncomfortable sharing that publicly.
Iām always alright with negotiating prices if you want to request a reading but feel you canāt meet the monetary requirement. I understand - Iām going through the same thing - and appreciate your kindness, and a quick PM will solve the issue :)
