WHAT ARE YALL READING RN you must tell me
You Did Nothing Wrong by C.G Drews-a unique take on the Haunted House trope. It’s good, I’m barely 60 pages in and I already feel so much dread. I predict the mom is going to snap and kill either the husband or the kid. I haven’t decided which.

I have watched the first 2 episodes of the Pitt, and the clips of Park the Shark. Do I
A) Write an AU with Buck in Pittsburg dating the Shark
OR
B) An AU where Tommy Kinard is an Orthopedic Surgeon and dating Buck?
Because i need another AU like a hole on the head.
A, because it can double as a Buck Leaves the 118 (and goes to Pittsburg)
I don’t even think Joyce would be a bad mom (especially in 1983) for a single night where she got home from a long shift and didn’t think to check on whether Will had gotten home because it was so late and unwound with TV/wine. But that was not the vibe in S1. They’re gentrifying her into Karen.
Mike hid a whole child in his basement for a week and nobody noticed 😂
Personally I think if buck ever called Eddie princess Eddie would laugh so hard he’d fall off his chair/out of bed/crash the car/explode the moon/dig to the center of the earth
Will you reblog this and say in the tags the last movie that you watched?

yellow is generally the population’s least favourite colour which is interesting to me. i have a theory that yellow is generally more appealing to people the Less saturated and deep it is, the more warm and less cool it is, and that faded pale yellow is more pleasing to the eye than mustard. can you all participate in a casual experiment and tag or reply with which shade you like best from this yellow shade chart. i’m hypothesising daffodil will be popular as an answer
What do you call these
Freezer pops
Otter pops
Ice pops
Ice tubes
Freezer tubes
Popsicles
Something else (put it in the replies)

As a native CA with friends in TX. If 911 was telling the story based on Christopher's actual needs. He's back before school because their programs and services don't come close to ours in any way. I just want everyone to know that😂🤣
KOSKSPSKSPSKSPSKPSKAPA tbf if they were thinking about this they wouldn't let Chris go in the first place. Sure, summer vacations just started, but he probably has doctors? And therapists? And an established routine of care for his CP that is in California. He's 13 now. They left Texas when he was 6. His grandparents are definitely not up to date with his care. And Eddie has phenomenal coverage for what they make it seem with the private school and the home aid. Like, sure, Chris is old enough to be aware of how managing his CP goes, but he is still very much a child that can't just set it all up himself. What were they even thinking? And that's not considered the way that the Diaz's parents have no legal power over Chris. If something happens there's only so much they can authorize without Eddie. The fact that they really sent Chris to a different state indefinitely is INSANITY from a logistical standpoint. How did they even set up to take everything he needs that fast? Also, I don't know how retirement and health insurance works on that front and across state lines in the us, but I'm pretty sure the firefighter/army coverage is probably better than whatever his grandparents have going on. So, yeah, they're definitely not thinking about this lol
This isn’t necessarily true. I have CP too and in my experience, the physical therapists taught me exercises that I could do on my own so that I wouldn’t need to rely on them. I didn’t have a lot of fancy equipment that needed to be “set up”, I was given simple equipment like exercise balls and stretchy arm bands. Even then, most of my exercises required nothing. I did them on the floor, stairs, against the wall, and with regular furniture. Realistically most people don’t have expensive PT offices inside their homes. They just throw a mat on the living room floor and figure it out.
I went for regular check ups as I was still physically growing, but they became less and less as I got older. By the time I was 13, I went MAYBE twice a year. Cerebral Palsy is unfortunately one of those conditions that doesn’t really change a lot, especially once you’re grown 😕 so if you’re keeping up with your stretches, there isn’t a point in going to the doctor often. They’ll just tell you to keep doing your regular exercises.
Also, Christopher’s grandparents don’t ACTUALLY have custody of him, it’s just an informal agreement, so Christopher is definitely still on Eddie’s insurance.
Okay, thank you for this because I was in fact curious, and this is very enlightening. I assumed Chris would have a regular therapist simply because of Carla tbh, since Eddie's insurance covers the aid, I kinda just assumed it would cover a physical therapist semi regularly just because. And yes, they don't have custody, but it still stands that they probably can't sign anything in case Chris needs it, my thing is mostly worst case scenario, how much can they do legally since it's just a verbal agreement. But who even knows how the show is gonna handle this tbh.
Lol when Eddie hired Carla way back in season 2, I was like, daaaamn he’s got a care aid??? Rich little bastard.
🤣
Fr tho this was me as a preteen with a disability:
Mom, phoning from work: Hey did you do your exercises yet?
Me, home alone, illegally downloading Jonas Brother songs off limewire on the family desktop: Yes absolutely 😇
Mom: We’re going to go see Shelly in a month and she’s gonna know you’re lying when she sees how stiff you are. Do you wanna get lectured?
Me, pulling out the mat: UGH FINE.
Having Cerebral Palsy probably seems really intense and scary to the people on the outside, but when you’re living with it all your life like me and Christopher, it’s just another mundane part of existing. He’s fine lol. Probably just annoyed doing stretches interrupts his time playing Minecraft.

Tell me in the tags which song from The Tortured Poets Department is currently stuck in your head
One thing I will never understand is why some of y'all get so mad about Buck and Eddie being roughly the same age. I don't understand how people can learn that Eddie only enlisted when Shannon got pregnant and not just assume he was 18/19 when that happened. In what world a 23 yo would panic enlisted because his girlfriend got pregnant? I don't get it.
Although I agree that Eddie and Buck are around the same age, I will say a 23 year old panic enlisting is not unrealistic at all. Grown men bail on their families all the time, it’s unfortunately all too common 😕
