Heya! i’m Alucard or Buck! I’m a 20 year old disabled Canadian artist with a passion for character design and worldbuilding! My current passion project is an rp called Daybreak’s Facade, an invite-only project that I’ve put a lot of work into so far!!!

Hi all! This is something related to my work at an environmental nonprofit but also something I’m personally passionate about, so I’m asking for help. It would mean so, SO much to me if you could submit comments to FERC in support of Eel River dam removal by December 1st.

The Eel River is a river local to me of massive importance, and we’re in an incredible time where the company that owns two dams blocking access to the river’s headwaters actually want to remove these dams. It’s the right thing to do, as seeing these dams removed will revitalize endangered salmon runs by giving them access to pristine habitat, prevent a catastrophe should these 100+ year old structures fail, and begin to right over a century of wrongs to Indigenous peoples and their cultural connections to the river and its salmon.

However, we’re in a struggle right now against conservatives who want to keep their status-quo and don’t understand the risks to human and animal lives alike that keeping these dams represents. It’s important for FERC to hear right now that PG&E’s plan for dam removal is widely supported, and that a wild & free Eel River is the best chance of revitalization for our watershed, fisheries, and communities.

This isn't Greta Thunberg’s fault, she couldn’t have been a better ally, but it’s so disheartening how her kidnapping and mistreatment for five days have rallied so many people, when what she went through is only a fraction of a fraction of what thousands of Palestinian men, women, girls, and boys — who have been routinely kidnapped, tortured, and raped to unimaginably evil lengths for months or even years, often to the point of death, — have endured and are still enduring as we speak.

And I know that’s the whole point of why she did what she did. She knew that, as a young high-profile White European girl, her mistreatment would result in more uproar and she intended to use that privilege to raise awareness of what is happening to Palestinians. That’s why the first thing she did after her release, when the press asked her to speak in detail about her own mistreatment, was to shift the conversation instead to how Israel continues to escalate its genocide against Palestinians.

I just wish people understood her message and gave the same energy toward helping Palestinians without waiting for a White Westerner to risk their life first.

Church by Fallout Boy --- Character A is intensely devoted (to the point of near insanity) to another for having saved their life in some way (pulling them out of prison, stopping their execution, etc.). Character B, who saved Character A, doesn't actually hold any affection for them and only saved them for personal gain. Now that Character A has been saved, they will do anything for Character B, including legitimately and recklessly risking life and limb.

Are You Satisfied? by MARINA --- A character who was part of a cult and picked to be their "chosen one." During the ceremony that was meant to grant them great powers, they were drugged by the cult (knowingly or unknowingly) and forced to make a pact with an ancient evil. Now they must grapple with the fact that their new "power" was never theirs and they have less control over their life than ever before.

Character A, an infant god (born from nothing, created by the primordial creation force, created by another god, etc.) is thrust into the world of mortals at birth and has lived their life mostly as a regular human (or otherwise). Suddenly the world begins to bend around them. While everyone else dismisses them or judges them to be a "witch", they find Character B, who tells Character A that they must make a long pilgrimage to a distant land to ascend to godhood, with Character B's help.

Now an adult, they must either resist or succumb to the invasion.

If a kid’s authority figure(s) are acting abusive towards the child, the child may act more aggressively towards the authority figure and defy them. This usually happens with teachers or parents, and gets diagnosed as Oppositional Defiance Disorder, which is just done to dismiss kids and sometimes grown people as mentally ill when they speak out against authority figures

staticego is my best friend in the entire world and his cat Reese has been suffering from some unknown skin condition for well over a year now, that causes her to be so itchy that she pulls out her fur, leaving behind bald and bloody sores. she has to wear jammies and a soft cone 24/7 to keep her from picking at her skin further.

he needs to take her to a dermatologist as all the normal vets in the area have proved unhelpful, but there is a $200 non-refundable fee to secure an appointment, which doesn’t even cover the actual appointment itself or any medications or tests that they do. if you have the ability to donate even a couple of dollars it would be a great help. we love reese and want to see her happy and healthy again.
