You were going to Wangshuu Inn. Lumine told you to go there to help her with a quest.
"You know how to cook Almond Tofu, no?" she says, guiding you to the kitchen. "Yes. It's my favourite dish. Why?" "Well, to make an Adeptus talk." "Adeptus? You should've meet with Morax." you said with an confused face. "Yes, well that won't happen. Apperantly he's dead." you stoped walking. "What? The oldest Archon died?!".
You couldn't believe it. You were born and raised in Lyiue. You were at every Rite of Decension, but this year you didn't go because Kaeya needed help with Spyral Abyss, so you helped him instead .
"Yes, he's dead. And I am the main suspect. I ran away, but I was caught, but a Fatui Harbinger saved us and send us to talk to the adeptus about this crisis." "A Fatui Harbinger?" you asked, schoked. "I know. I will keep an eye in him."
You reached to the kitchen. "So...why do you need Almond Tofu?" you asked Lumine while getting all of the ingredients you need. "Well, an Adeptus won't talk with me without it." you burst in laugh the moment you hear that. "Really?" you asked her. "Yep.".
You kept silent and just helped her. You maked the Almond Tofu and give it to Lumine. “Thank you so much for helping me, y/n!” “Alright, time for payment.” Lumine’s eyes widen. “W-what? I... but” she mutturs. “Hmph! I though you helped us because we were friends” Paimon said, with an angry face. You start laughing. “Just joking. But actually, there is one thing. Since I was little I wanted to see the Adeptus. At least one of them. It’s too much to ask to come with you to that adeptus?” “Sure, no prob.” Lumine responded.
You, Lumine and Paimon went to the Wangshuu Inn balcony. Someone appeared out of nowhere. “GAHH!” you scream, scared. The person stopped for a second and just looked at you. Just staring at you. But then he said “Hmph, another one. I said you need to leave!” . You calm yourself, then and ask Lumine “Is he... an Adeptus..?” “Yes, he is.” she responded.
You gotten confused. In the stories said that the Adeptus are mythical creatures, no that they are looking like mortals. “That’s...interesting.” you said.
“Hmph, I stayed for too long” the Adeptus said. “Wait! Don’t go disappearing again!” Paimon says. Lumine gives Xiao Almond Tofu and some other dish. Satisfying Salad, you guess. “What’s this?” he asked. “ It’s you favourite, Almond Tofu! As well as this distant traveler’s dish - a Satisfying Salad. Lumine! Quick! Tell him everything before he finishes eating!”. The Adeptus takes a bite out of his Almond Tofu. The Adeptus’s eyes widen. “Wait! Who made this dish?” he asks. “I did!” you respond. “So she did this...dish”. Actually, the Adeptus wanted to say delicacy, but he keept that for himself.
The whole time Lumine talked with the Adeptus, you were just staring at him. He was so beatiful. How an Adeptus could look like a human? And how this Adeptus look cute as hell? After Lumine stopped talking, The Adeptus remainded with a schoked face. “Rex Lapis... How could this be”. It was truly heartbreaking to see his face. “I... can’t imagine it. Though times have changed, I’ve never imagined a Lyiue without him. The ruling Qixing... Just what role have they played in this.... I will seek Moon Carver, Mountain Shaper and Cloud Retainer. It is time they too made their decision.” he continued.
The rest, you didn’t heard. You just spaced out. He’s right. The Adeptus was right. A Lyiue without him? How? Who would have such a strength to kill a God who fought in the Archon War?
After they finished, Lumine and Paimon. You after them, but the Adeptus stopped you by holding your wrist. “What’s your name?” he asked you. You felt butterflies in you stomach. “uh... y/n...” you respond. “My name is Xiao”. “Nice to meet you” you responded with a smile. “Would you mind to keep me company?” Xiao mutters, shyly. “Of course, why not?” you said.
You were on the top of the Inn with Xiao. Xiao actually didn’t know how he was feeling. It was a new feeling to him. Is he... in love with you? He became scared. How could he be in love with a mortal? Would a relationship with you even work? How will it work? How is he supposed to tell you that? Would you even accept his confession? Theese questions made Xiao become more and more scared.
“So....you made that Almond Tofu?”. You look at him and make eye contact with him. “Yeah. Did you liked it?” “It was...good,” he responded. “I can make you some more if you like.” you said.
He was just staring at your lips. He wanted to kiss you so badly. He never knew he had this kind of side. He couldn’t help it, and kissed you. Not passionate, just a simple kiss on the lips.
Xiao become flustered, “Uhhh, no... sorry.. I dunno why I did that.. so-” you kissed him too. A simple and short kiss
