I get the feeling based on the tags that OP would just as quickly call it cringe to acknowledge the physical impact for women of pregnancy and giving birth and how that might need to be accommodated (like extra leave in the last few weeks of pregnancy) compared to the father/partner.

this is what happens when you fully subscribe to liberal "equality" feminism. if your analysis is simply that everyone is equal, then acknowledging any differences becomes tantamount to saying that the groups can't be equal. so they have to deny any differences in order to condemn oppression, because if there are differences then oppression is justified.

(you can also see this attitude in some strands of disability activism, where people (typically with no or very minor disabilities) argue that anyone can do anything as long as the right accommodations are in place and that no activities are ever impossible or unsuitable for anyone due to a disability.)

This is why radical feminism preaches liberation instead of equality. We don't want to be treated the exact same as men, we are not men! We want for society take into account the substantial differences between us. Maternity leave has to be longer because mothers experience far more physical and mental drawback than fathers, not to mention they are expected to take on the childcare role as well. Menstrual leave would hypothetically exist (and I say hypothetically because it exists almost nowhere) for women because they experience the physical symptoms of periods. If women and men were to get the exact same number of paid sick days, men would ultimately end up benefitting more. They have no periods so could use them for other things (vacation, special events); women do have periods, so would end up with less days they could use for leisure and whatnot.

This is why liberal feminism is garbage and ends up trying to make women more like men socially. We are not men, and this needs to be the first fundamental tenet of feminism (recognizing WHO and WHAT a woman is, and then HOW she differs from a man).

Transwomen DO have male privilege, and that is NOT something that they can transition out of since, you know, they will ALWAYS be male. Male socialisation is also a thing, but you're conflating it with male privilege, though they are related.

Male privilege refers to the benefits and advantages that males get just because they're male. For example, Ethel Cain is adored because he's a TIM, despite being openly racist, misogynistic, into incest, etc. No one would ever be that lenient for a woman.

Male socialisation refers to the way males are taught by family, society, media, friends, etc, to behave and think as males.

Neither of these things magically vanish just because a male claims to be a woman, no matter how well he "passes," or how much this FACT upsets you, a male.
