Monday training
So today I aimed to not time my session and to just work at a high rate for as long as I can! It worked well may try it again tomorrow! So did 20 mins of shadow boxing with/without weights 10 mins intense circuit doing around 10 secs each station involving core strength moves body weight moves and sprints Then did around 15 mins on my heavybag working on power combos and speed drills I then got the heavy weight out and did 2x till failure shoulder press 2x till failure bench press 2x till failure dead lift 2x till failure squats Not sure how long the weights took but didn't have more than 1min between sets Very happy with what I did got cardio weights and boxing into the session I intend to do them like this until my fitness gets back up then will get more advanced!
First session back. Monday training
2x3min round warm up stretch etc
Then…. 4x3min weighted shadow boxing 2x3min shadow boxing
Then…. 4x3min heavy bag
Then…. 100 sit ups 50 side dips 3x15 push ups
Not a vast amount but seeing as I’ve been ill for a long time and then my son was born I'm quite happy with what I managed :) got to keep going now!
Bad times
So I haven't posted since god knows when but for good cause! My partner Nicola has been really struggling with the pregnancy and so I've had a lot of stress with that and work. And inevitably burning the candle at both ends I got sick! Very sick! I got SR gastritis witch also gave me GERD and LPR! All stomach problems! So I wasn't able to keep food down for long and was no where near capable of training. I've had this for 3-4 weeks and only at the end of this last week have I started to feel anywhere near my old self! So my intention after this weekend is to get back slowly into my routine again and try n push through this! I've put a significant amount of weight on as I've had to drink high calorie meal replacements while I couldn't hold solids down and with not training and not working it's put weight on! :( but can get it back! Hard work dedication! So tomorrow my aim is to start eating right and get a small 30 min training session in and see how I go! Wish me Luck and hopefully I can get back to normal (till baby comes ;)) he's due in two weeks! God times gone fast this year!
When ya losing the will power!!
What a week!
So I haven't trained this week as I've had a really bad stomach flu! Haven't kept anything solid down for at least 5 days! But strangely enough I weighed myself today and lost only 1 pound! Thought I'd loose a bit with not eating but guess not! Really hope I feel better by Monday as I'm missing training and hope I can eat cause I'm hungry just can't keep it down! Need to get back at it! Also at the minute everything is reminding me of boxing! My team mate Ekow Essuman is fighting at world combat games in Russia!! Good luck Ekow kill it mate! And boxing all over the tv! Feels like a sign!!

Result
So this week lost 2lbs! I'm happy as since I've started my weight training my body shape has changed a lot. Also I've noticed gains in strength and agility so I can't moan! Those 2lbs are hard earned and that makes me feel positive! No easy fix, no quick fix, no false expectations. Just steady, hard gained, hard work, hard earned loss!
Friday training
Felt shocking still but got to be honest Weights always gets my adrenaline going and really motivates me! Good sign :)
3x15reps e/a one arm row 1xtill failure dead lift 3x15 reps 1xTF bench press 3x12 reps 1xTF squats 3x15 reps tricep dips 3x12 reps bicep curls 3x5 reps e/a concentration curl 4x20 calve raises 3x12 reps 1xTF shoulder press 4x25 reps crunches 4x25 reps leg raises
Happy! Upped my reps and a few sets will increase weight next week I think feeling a lot stronger!!

Thursday training
Boxing.... My back started playing up about 10 minutes into it witch wasn't good so I eased off and did less! 2x3 min warm up 5x3 min shadow boxing 8x3min heavybag 100 sit ups in 25s Not happy but need to keep going so don't wanna over do it and do my back in!

Wednesday training
Weights All 3x10 reps then 1x till failure Squats Calve raises Crunches Leg raises Shoulder press Bench press Bicep curls Tricep dips Another solid weight session definitely will up weights next week as feeling a lot stronger!
