I guess it's a good sign when coworkers randomly go up to me and ask if I've been doing a lot of leg days lately or asking if I've lost weight. I've actually had to double check and ask some of these people if they're fucking with me but they're totally serious. Progress!

Went to the doctor regarding my sudden changes in moods and the increase of my depression and anxiety. Going to get a full physical next month, gonna check my hormone levels and everything going on.
Tomorrow I’m going to start some new exercises I found on a new app I got called JEFIT. Gonna try concentrating more on abs and legs/glutes in the next couple of weeks. My motivation has been really low and because my depression is hitting pretty hard, I’ve been really lax with working out and eating healthy… But luckily I haven’t lost any progress. I just need to get back on the horse and try again.
Also one of my coworkers asked if I’ve been doing a lot of leg days because it’s starting to show. Yay to finally getting a butt!!
Depression Sucks
The biggest hurdle I have to cross in order to achieve my goals has to be my mental health. I’ve achieved a pretty good amount of reduction as far as inches and pounds thus far, but my mental state with my anxiety and depression doesn’t seem to have improved too much. I was hoping the increase of physical activity and healthy eating would change this significantly but it hasn’t really done much of a dent.
I think I’m going back to my doctor soon. I’ve been working six day weeks for the past several weeks and only one day off is kind of exhausting me, especially since the resort is hosting a food and wine festival this weekend which may result in me doing doubles. It takes a fuckload of energy and talking myself into going to the gym after work just because I’m so tired. I’ve given myself a few breaks, opting to go home and rest a few times. I think I’m going to change up my workout routine, perhaps trying some new stuff like lifting and ab exercises will make this part of my journey more interesting.
I’ve gone down three whole waist trainer sizes since I’ve started this, which helps motivate me to keep going. I still need to drink a lot more water, which is hard to do when you’re running around work all day.
Anyway, things aren’t that bad, could be a lot worse... I just wish my depression and anxiety would diminish. Still taking medicine, maybe I’ll ask the doctor if there’s anything else i can do to help with my moods.

Week 1 Progress:
I’ve been pretty preoccupied, but I plan on writing more once I get the time. I’ve noticed a lot once I’ve started this journey, so I’ll be sure to document it asap!
Anyway, here is the progress I’ve made thus far:
Lost 4 lbs in the first five days.
Lost 3 inches from my chest.
Lost 3 inches from my waist.
Lost 3 inches from my hips.
A lot better than I thought I would the first five days, here’s to kicking more ass in week 2!
