Hey look, more art! This is kind of an old drawing.

This is of Nyx, my oc based off of an AU I made of the game Palia.

The AU is called The Flow of the Cavas, and Palia is one part of that AU. In the Cavas, there are webs that connect each world to a central hub. Gods from each world can visit the Cavas and interact with others.(And hope that no inter-dimensional wars start) Nyx is one of those gods, and a co-creator of the Canvas.

They used to be known as Embra. In the canon, Embra is a god, and seemingly the voice of the pink void at the start of the game. That may be the case here, but they have their own look now.

In this AU, Embra created flow(though im sure that will likely be disproven by canon, who knows) as an energy source. While they are a god, they were made simply as a robot. They were created to live and serve life, mainly humanity, forever. To the humans he served, they were seen as a god. However, upon sacrificing her body and memories(but not necessarily their status as god and their immortality) for his home, she is sent into a coma, of sorts. A really, really, really long nap.

He wakes up in a land now called Palia. They now have to live her life in a body that wasn't made for emotions, with powers that arent familiar to the hands that once used them with skill, and a world that moved on from the gods that gave everything.

Embra made many mistakes as a god, and Nyx, without their memories and knowledge of who he was, is in a land completely unfamiliar. They have to learn to be all over again, unknowingly living in those past mistakes they made.

Omg I worded this so bad. That isn't exactly it, they're more like a puppet/robot to be used by Embra, sort of like a persona. So they were known AS Embra, though they aren't actually embra. However they went offline during the human extinction as there were no humans to teach and care for. They woke up recently when humans started to resurge again, without their memories of who they were before. The idea is that Nyx slowly regains their memories. So, most of what I said ig is accurate, I just made Nyx sound like he is Embra. He's not lol. He is still a co-creator of the Canvas, I just messed up some of my words.

In light of the no.1 trending topic on this site, I'd like to inform youse that Kitty Kendall, one of the survivors who bravely spoke out against Neil Gaiman and accused him of rape in 2025, has said here and here that if you are looking to support her and other survivors, you can make a donation to OurVOICE (the counselling service Kendall herself used) or your local rape crisis centre. If you can't make a donation, you can help to ensure people do not forget what Kendall and other survivors have gone through and continue to go through as they pursue legal action, and that Gaiman has already spent a lot of money in the attempt to sue these women for speaking out.
