Since i have nobody to really talk about this, i’ll make this awesome blog useful again by rambling and analizing this scene specifically because i Cannot stop thinking about it.

I have to say, when i first saw the video i thought this was just Frank’s head playing with him, reminding himself (unconsciously) that he’s not getting what he Truly wants, Who he truly wants. A little reminder that, as much as he cares about Julie (the guy is literally willing to KILL just to help her feel better btw), he will never feel complete with her the way he feels with Eddie. I mean Frank is literally viewing him in a flower bed with roses which are objectively the most obvious symbol of romance ever, And even the colors are brighter compared to the actual scene with Julie.

But there’s more to it, i believe. Eddie being portrayed as Sweet Prior is also very interesting to me, this idea of the sleeping beauty completely unconscious of the world around him and the desperation of wanting him awake again. Which is kind of what Frank is saying too, in a way. Wishing for Eddie to remember, to see and touch and treat Frank the way he did once. Could that ever happen? Will Eddie wake up? If Frank has the option, will He wake him up?

This video also says a lot about their relationship, what it used to be and what it is now. I always thought they had a secret forbidden romantic situationship going on, with the whole calling eachother “Mr. Frankly, Mr. Dear” stuff (AND how they Only called eachother by their names as a mistake or once they were both alone). And i mean, that theory is still standing, partially, but something changed. This video implies that Something happened between them, perhaps something above their will, and they had to stop being gay or something. Maybe Eddie’s awful memory is selective and, for Someone or Something, what they had was better forgotten. But at the same time now we Also know by the other videos that Eddie is at least aware of whatever is controlling this neighborhood. Did the homewarming incident made him wake up? Was the whole sexy belt-acommodation scene a way to communicate with Frank directly, but in a very subtle way so nobody would suspect? Was it a “I am awake, I remember, and I still stand by us”?

The conclusion is: i literally have no idea i don’t know shit

Ghhghghhhh i have sooo many thoughts about knuxadow man i Love them. I think i just enjoy that their dynamic is fucking great no matter if its a romantic relationship or straight up just platonic. Theyre just two akward dudes longing for closure... Knuckles never had such a personal connection with anyone, it was denied to him... and Shadow had Maria but she was taken from him too... they have many friends but they still feel so lonely!!!!!
