Day 4: future

Boris breathed hard in front of the crumbling stones, his pulse loud in his ears. He lifted his wrist beneath his nose, the acrid smell of paint filling his nostrils. The therapist had told him to give shape to the pain, to let it out. Not to hold back if he wanted to face the future. And he had.

He had let it out.

Vorkov’s distorted face smeared the wall, crooked like in his memories, flanked by a crude phallic shape he almost wished he’d drawn straight into his mouth. A gesture—angry, childish, almost ridiculous. And yet damn satisfying. As if, for once, he could be the one humiliating him. His hand was still trembling when he stepped back. He looked at the wall, then spat on the ground, raising his middle finger.

«Fuck you.»

Drawing isn't my strong point... I think that's pretty obvious 🤣 but I gave it a go, even though he looks more like Kai's grandad than Vorkov.

If the image brings back any memories, it’s no coincidence. I drew inspiration from the fanfiction: Out of the Past, which mentions a scene where Boris went to vandalise the abbey with Vorkov’s face and a phallic shape.

That’s where the idea came from.
