Hi there! We're the Starshade Alirealm, the coiners of the term alirealm (link). This blog has no DNI, and we aren't going to state our stances outside of what we've already stated so no one feels excluded from the term/community. The mod list will probably be updated as more people decide to post here:

Mod Onyx - Zey&/he&, polyfrag DID system. Collectively we are vincian, transmasc, polyamorous, and have NPD, BPD, C-PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism. We don't share our body's age for our own comfort :3

Mod Moth - any pronouns, nonbinary pan-lesboy!! 18 & white (sorry </3)

Mod Nyx - Pronoun fluid, but just default to they/it/ae/end if you aren't sure. Genderfluid and probably vincian but I'm questioning now (I've identified as a vincian for years but I might be falling down the sapphic pipeline help)?? 18 but very apathetic about my age because of trauma lol

Mod Jackdaw - HI ummmmm I use a lot of pronouns but my main ones are he/it/doll/wolf/moon/bitch! I'm vincian and a transxensculine boyxip and I'm 16! Uhhh. Idk what else to say about myself but YEAH!! Also HC-DID system but just refer to us as one person unless we're super fucking close (if you're close enough to me I will let you know) woohoo

you cannot gatekeep a gender/sexuality/etc. like im sorry but your DNI does not apply to someones personal experiences. you cant say "i coined a gender, neoncutecatgender!! ENDOS CANT USE THIS!!!" because you cant control other peoples personal experiences. you can ask them to not interact with your posts or make a different flag if theyre on your DNI, but you cant force them to stop being a certain gender/sexuality/etc. it does not affect you, move on

thinking about that post about how yeah, it's definitely possible and valid to be trans without dysphoria, but also a lot of trans people are underestimating the amount of dysphoria they experience that has faded to mental background noise

and thinking about how this almost certainly applies to systems and dissociation as well. like yeah, it's entirely possible and valid to be a completely non-disordered, non-dissociative system, but I think a lot of plurals are vastly underestimating the amount of dissociation they experience because it's common to them so they don't even notice. I know that's definitely how it went for us

my biggest advice for (especially but not exclusively new(ly discovered)) systems is... to take everyones advice with a grain of salt. whats good for one system is catestrophically bad for another. a lot of posts frame their advice as perfect and infallible (which i doubt is intentional on the posters part), but it really isnt. just do what works best for your system.

Alirealm is a term to describe beings who consider themselves to be singlets instead of plural (or systems instead of subsystems if individuals in an alirealm are plural) because they view themselves as from another universe/realm/planet/etc and not inside one body/mind/etc. Individuals in an alirealm may control one body, but they are not parts of a system and their "innerworld" or "headspace" is just as much of a real world as the one you're in right now. An alirealm's world may be an exact copy of this world, or it may be completely different, any kinds of worlds are equally real. Any experiences or trauma that happen in an alirealm's world are just as real as this world's. Individuals in an alirealm are just as much real people as people in this world.

The term "alirealm" comes from "alius" (Latin for "another") and "realm".

The stripe meanings are:

Gray-brown for feeling disconnected from the typical concept of "systems" being "multiple people in one brain/body"

Light brown for individuals in alirealms who are also plural

White for feeling a connection with others in your alirealm due to using the same body to access this world

The blue, purple, and pink represent all the different experiences individuals may go through in their alirealm's world

The term "alirealm", of course, has the inherent beliefs that non-traumagenic and non-disordered plurality are possible. And, of course, exotrauma/exomemories/intratrauma/intramemories/etc are just as real as trauma/memories from this world, as well as any other possible experience in an alirealm. Other than that, this term has no DNI and no inherent stances because you can't put a DNI on an identity lmao
