truly gotta think about the horror of everything for ana. you arrive to your brother’s workplace because you got an alert that something’s wrong and you find him being disemboweled by a creature you recognize from your nightmares and from the last time he was injured and dying like this. and he hasn’t spoken to you in weeks and he hasn’t been nice like he used to be and he’s been losing weight and acting strange. but now he’s dying and you have to save him. and you don’t know why he’s been growing away from you but you have to save him. and you drag him away and keep him stable to get to a hospital but you know something bad is happening. and you start to wonder about all the things he hasn’t told you. and he’s dying still. and he can’t speak. and you can see in his face that he knows you know something he didn’t want you to know. and then they start to find the evidence, and the bodies, and you realize that there is nothing you can do. you can’t actually save him, and you couldn’t even if he lived. and you can have all the doubts and frustrations and anger about not stopping it sooner, but there was no way to know.
