Someone on tiktok said that when he was a kid, Dick liked to play the "Dead Parents" and "Busy Unavailable Guardian" card to get out of things and would get upset if Bruce went to PTA meetings or something.

Now I'm picturing Dick being like "I don't know if I can do the homework :( I don't really understand it and Mr. Wayne is never home to help me :("

meanwhile Bruce personally signs off on all the homework that Dick does, is in constant communication with them about how Dick is doing and adapting to a more structured school environment rather than the homeschooling he's used to, and emails them during the week of the anniversary of Dick's parents passing to let them know he might act a bit off and to contact him (or Alfred if he's unavailable) if Dick needs something.
