Heyyyyy, welcome to my Tumblr!! Welcome in! :)
I go by Amethyst. I'm a 32-year-old adult millennial disabled spoonie woman born in the 90's. My posts WILL be hyper, random, and full of info dumps - and LOTS of yapping. The topics will just be about whatever is bouncing around in my head like a Windows 98 screensaver.
OH - AND! If there are any trigger or content warnings that need to be added to my posts, feel more than free to lemmie know! It's not my intention to do that on purpose; I just forget a LOT.
For anybody curious: I love AND welcome interactions - tag games, DMs, asks (anon is on, if y'all wanna use that), chats, and everything in between. I love to yap, chat, learn new stuff, and meet new peeps!
I also write in my free time: a blend; some fanfic, some original works, and a lot in between. (Which will be posted mostly on here AND A03!) Currently, I'm working on a few books, and have managed to narrow it down from about 30 to a manageable three to four! This is to mainly help with my health, and to prevent complete burnout.
My hyperfixations frequently bounce here, there, & everywhere CONSTANTLY. Much like a Windows '98 screensaver, ironically enough! So, as a result, my posts, reblogs, and the like won't have one singular aethesthetic. They'll just... be whatever I'm vibing with at the time. (TDLR: I encounter happy chemical-inducing stuff, and I like/reblogs/share while adding tags 'n stuff. I also share 'em with friends!)
As typed above, I am, in fact, a Spoonie. "Spoonie" is a term I use to quickly explain that I have multiple disabling, chronic conditions. These include Fibromyalgia, IBS, and a few others. Some aren't as bad - both physical and mental. Despite dealing with constant issues, they ain't gunna stop me. I just... do what I can, when I can. And yes, I'm open and comfortable (to a degree) talking about 'em!
And - for anybody who's curious - I'm asexual. Quite the journey to find that out 'bout myself! I also enjoy multishipping & self-shipping.
I do my best to check the rules, BTF, and about me's of people I follow. But, due to memory lapses, I may accidentally unfollow and re-follow y'all - sorry! Not tryin' to flood you with notifications. And I don't keep a track of who I follow, or who they follow. That's too tiring, and eats too, too many spoons.
