This blog is present to credit resources without reblogging on my roleplay blogs themselves, post my resources of the characters, and to communicate with other mods. After January 20th, 2025, I will also reblog resources to help my fellow US citizens survive what we now face.

Mobile user, phone touch detection is a little messed up so I may accidentally like posts! I will unlike the posts every time this occurs, as I don't intend to spam.

Mun Disclaimer

I realize I have not mentioned this before, and it can have a great impact on mun-to-mun communication, so I'll be upfront about this:

I am very likely to go on lore rambles in the DMs with other RP muns. I don't enjoy putting OOC comments in the tags of my posts, it just feels less 'professional' and messy. I much prefer keeping my tags organized without additional information, it is my personal preference and I see no reason to change this. As a result, I strongly lean towards OOC communication within DMs where it is away from audience eyes.

As much as this is a hobby, I feel a sense of responsibility in ensuring that my blogs appear well-maintained. Additionally, as I am currently recovering from getting a stent in my head, I have no job and lots of free time for RP.

I say all this because my high activity and tendency to word vomit has resulted in a fellow RP mun blocking me. I want to make it clear that this was not anyone's fault, we simply were incompatible in terms of energy and I respect the mun's decision to block me for their own ease of mind. I understand if my high energy becomes a problem for anyone else, and if this causes anyone else to unfollow or block me, I don't mind.

//Heads up, I maaay have broken my phone screen (again), but at least it wasn't from overheating this time! It just fell, the screen which has been slowly losing its grip on the backing tore away completely, and the connection between the screen and phone severed. Fortunately, the phone-side connector and screen-side port are intact, so it's likely just a matter of getting the two to reconnect again. ...Which I will have to take care of later. My formatting may be a bit off while I'm stuck off mobile, haha.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

look, I can endure any kind of UI changes that are supposed to help tumblr-rookies to understand how this works. They may be a nuisance, but that's ok, we have x-kit or we can get used to buttons being here or there.

But this. This changes the data architecture. This changes the SINGLE THING that makes tumblr the "... yes and" website. This KILLS THE COLLABORATIVE POSTING THAT MAKES THIS SITE DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER MEDIA PLATFORMS.
