I remember that when Game of Thrones was launched and became a hit, I had absolutely no interest in following it. I simply didn't want to watch it. I didn't want to, didn't want to, didn't want to! And my parents and friends were completely addicted, by the way. Whenever the topic about the series came up, I tended to zone out. Not because I hated it or anything like that, after all, I had never watched it. Maybe it was because I have a certain inability to keep up with what's very trendy. I think I feel obligated to always be up to date, and that just makes me lazy. Well, in the last season, I decided to find out why everyone thought this series was so good, but I started with the books. And I loved it! I couldn't stop reading, always curious for the next chapter, what would happen to character x, why character y did that thing, and of course, lamenting the death of the only decent character in all that mess, Ned Stark. But there were some scenes that stuck with me, and one of them was Dany emerging from the fire as the Mother of Dragons, with the dragons literally by her side and unharmed by the flames. I decided that if I were to create any artwork from the series, something that would remind me of that moment, it would be one of them, so... here it is.
