More than a decade ago I made these ink-and-photoshop illustrations of mental organisms, speculative, memetic beings I imagined as embodiments of different feelings, ideas and thought-patterns. “What if memes could be seen like living, breathing, evolving organisms?” That sort of thing.
In time I disliked the memetic critters and purged them from my online galleries. But this week, I found that there was still a dedicated “fandom” for these critters, and decided to resurrect some of the better ones.
