Yeah, as it turns out, a lot of things make a lot more sense if you watch in intended/DVD order. FOR EXAMPLE:
The FBI agents at the end of the Bank Shot Job make more sense if they’ve been introduced at The Wedding Job already.
The romantic undertones of Bank Shot make more sense after the married couple squabbling in Mile High.
Mile High, Miracle, Two Horse and Stork are all centered around specific members of the team, so it makes sense for them to come after general cases that make it obvious what the formula is.
Sterling is introduced in the middle of the season, rather than in the third episode. This helps set him up for the season finale, but he’s introduced after six whole episodes establishing the characters, so it’s easier to get why they’re responding to this new and complex threat.
