I’ve got a longer drive ahead of me in the upcoming weeks and I’m dreading it a lot. Can your OC drive? If yes do they enjoy it or would they rather avoid it? Do they have any bad driving habits? If they can’t drive how do they usually travel?

Steven📔(17yrs)-He HATES driving, there are too many ways it can go wrong and he does not trust himself to do so. I don’t think he’d ever get his driver’s license since after the story when he gets less paranoid, I feel his disability would progress to the point he can’t drive. I’m still figuring out the kinks of his disability since it’s a fantasy one so this may change. He is somehow fine with being on a motorcycle, mostly cuz he trusts Annalise which owns a motorcycle. He’s only fine with it when she’s driving
Annalise🎸(17yrs): She likes to drive but she prefers her motorcycle. She sometimes has issues with speeding, but only on empty roads, especially under a starry night sky. The feeling of the wind in her hair, the smell of the crisp air, and the stars zooming by above her is just too much for her to resist. When driving she keeps all the windows down and drives as fast as the law allows so she can feel the air. When drunk she REALLY wants to drive and Moslie has to keep her keys away from him and Steven has to call an adult to drive em(If Moslie is sober in this situation he’ll drive)
Moslie🪰(17yrs): He’s…fine with driving. They got their driver’s license when legally able, and was excited for the freedom sure, but it’s not really all that for them. He’ll drive when needed but it’s not fun or anything, makes him feel anxious to be honest piloting what basically if used wrong a killing machine. They somehow get motion sickness while driving too so…not fun. He prefers his bike or walking whenever he can. One day they want to roadtrip around the country with the bike. Just him, his bike, and the whole country to explore. It’s their plan to do the second he graduates during the summer before college.
Sealia🍄🟫(42yrs): She enjoys it, not her favorite thing in the world, she prefers traveling through public transport when possible. She really enjoys going on trains and seeing all the people, though she wishes some of them were less rude. But, she loves roadtripping, seeing all the views zoom past her is a lovely experience. She wishes cars didn’t impact the environment as much though, if that were the case she’d drive way more. Currently, other than trains, she prefers bike rides with her family, it’s a great bonding experience. She turned her bike basket into a planter box which she grows mushrooms in.
Henry🔏(47yrs): Henry’s loved driving since he was a kid, getting his driver’s license was his first taste of freedom. He loves putting the window down, feeling the air on his skin, and driving around to nowhere. He’s always the first to volunteer when someone needs to be driven around and is the first one called when one of the kids/teens need a ride.
Sunny☀️(9yrs): … soooo, she’s nine. Okay honest answer, I feel like when she grows up she wouldn’t like it, she’s find it too restricting. Just being in a loud box, surrounded by a bunch of other loud boxes, NOT FUN. The car smell just makes it all so much worse. She much prefers walking, even when she can’t, she finds a way. Walking with the wind in her hair, or the rain on her skin, or just the sensation of walking, she loves it all. If she absolutely 100% unable to walk, she’ll bike, and if she can’t bike, she’ll drive with all the windows down on the emptiest roads. Not public transport because it’s too many people and noises.
Raymond🔬: He has no feelings towards driving. He needs to drive so he does, it’s the most efficient transport for him so he does it. Sure public transport is on the table, which you could argue is more efficient but…it’s too many people. He says driving is more efficient because he has more storage space and that’s why he drives.
Blue🔵: Why would a goddess need to drive? She can go anywhere in an instant. Though she must admit, there’s something fun about the activity. It’s relaxing, but inefficient, and she mustn’t indulge. She’s a goddess, and goddesses don’t need fun or relaxation.
okay not to ocpost again but the worst thing about having an oc is sometimes they become The Character to you. and you need to talk to someone about it like wow I can’t stop thinking about The Character… but in order to do so you have to like sit them down and explain everything about your oc first. and then it’s just you explaining your writing ideas. i need to talk about them the same way i would talk about any random character i love to someone.

- Having bits and pieces of their ear cut off. Either as branding or as a little warning for bad behavior. Maybe even for the novelty of it. Maybe the whole ear will be gone later, even.
- Hot and cold. Hot iron burns - for giving gnarly chars or maybe for cauterizing pre existing wounds. Cold iron for a quick, stinging cold shock. Beaten with a cold iron for those juicy bruises. Ice bath. Thrown in the snow. Walked on hot coals. Made to walk into a frozen lake feeling the ice crack underneath and the intense burn of the cold creep up the further they go in. Hot wax or putting out cigs on someone's skin. Or tongue.
- Electrocution. Shock collar. Several seconds long sessions of electricity as an endurance test. Or punishment where the amount of time is correlated to the severity of offense made (as decided by torturer of course). Shoved into open wires. Quick hits with a tazer
- infections. Spiking a fever and being forced into rest. Hot flashes and nausea and fatigue and body aches. Maybe it's an infected wound and needs cleaning out regularly, throbbing, hot, swollen, painful. Maybe it's a disease that attacks the immune system for a bit. It could be just a bad cold. Get that character weak and tender!
- Chronic illness or disability pains let's give it up for Disability and illness pains everyone!!! Banging pots and pans!!!! A character slowly breaking into sobs and getting weak at the knees because they're in agony and can't stand another minute!! They've exerted themselves too much and are physically trembling!! A character groaning and tensing up trying to go about their day even though they're feeling like shit!! Maybe they get snappy and reclusive and defensive. Maybe they get pathetic clingy and soggy. Character getting emergency treatment after crashing from their ailments! Characters slurring their speech and becoming disoriented and dissociated!
- Dentistry. Dark, dingy and dirty with rusty amateur equipment, slanging it? Or Deeply creepily clinical, suffocatingly sterile with an impending sense of control? Pulling teeth, drills, sharp things, mouth gags or forced open, restraints, substances, needles.
- small cuts on their lips. Made on purpose bc the lips are very sensitive and they're not massive but they'll definitely hurt and sting and make eating more unpleasant. Well, of course, they could also be massive. Someone could puncture a characters cheek. Slice off a portion of the lip. That'll surely make things way more uncomfortable

This is rly hard to answer without jst spoiling the story, but I found one!!!
The main group bonds a lot over hot cocoa. Whenever one of the teenagers or kid feels down they go over to Steven(teenager) and Henry’s(adult, Steven’s dad) house and have hot cocoa. Once a week they also all go to the house for a movie night and have hot cocoa ^_^
That house is kinda like the main base, not Sealia and her kids(Moslie(17) and Sunny(9))’s house cuz Henry’s better at making hot cocoa lolz.
They still go to Sealia’s house a lot though it’s like the 2nd main base. Annalise(17) who lives alone, despite having her own place, jst ends up sleeping in one house half the time and the other half the time <3
