Times when Tae-eul was visibly moved by Lee Gon. In episode two I don’t really know what’s cuter. Lee Gon’s happiness over finally having found his lieutenant or Tae-eul being all business until she’s stunned by his open curiosity and direct compliments about her (and his handsome face haha she’s looks at him quite closely).
I’m pretty sure that Tae-eul, being a good detective, can tell that Lee Gon is telling the truth and that he is overall very earnest. It is probably an additional reason to why she gets so frustrated early on. Her well-developed detective intuition is saying one thing, while every rational reason is saying another. I also think this later causes her to be frustrated with herself - because she starts to like him a bit: hitting his shoulder in a friendly way, bickering good-naturedly, opening up about herself in the bamboo forest while also asking him about himself etc. This fuels her frustration as well however because she feels she needs to remind herself of the fact that’s he’s probably crazy, which is why she gets more annoyed the more outrageous things he tells her. Resulting in episode three’s ending where she tries too hard to be (and not only seem) unbothered when he leaves. Episode three’s ending and episode four revealing that she’s more affected and intrigued by him than she has let on (and which she has probably not even realized or admitted to herself until then)
