#open the developer console (should be ~) and try to find a commands list. Probably under 'help'#you're probably gonna wanna either noclip back#or respawn at level start if you're too far away#or just change maps entirely.

If you went to all the trouble to escape the narrative in the first place, changing maps is probably the most appealing of those options. But! Make sure you are using the right command -- in many cases there is a distinction between the command for moving to a new map as you are, and for reincarnating in a new map as a blank self, empty of all the joys, sorrows, and inventory items of your past life, preserving nothing of who you once were save the intangible connection to user input some call "the soul".

Which is a valid choice, it's just important to not get them mixed up.

Also look carefully at the developer console - it should look kind of janky. If it's too polished, it might be diagetic and you might have a metanarrative you need to break out of first.

Today was the last day the mostly abandoned PDX Lloyd Center Mall was open to public, so hundreds of people just showed up in this usually empty abandoned mall and hung out, no one cared if you drew on the walls since its about to be demolished

Also it was awesome having lots of people walk up and talk to me while I was drawing curious about my art, and several people who recognized it as my art, which was really heartwarming ;w;

My woke take, as someone who has worked in both a public library and a school library, is that we desperately need both more books that are at a higher reading level but a less mature subject matter, and more books that are at a lower reading level but a more mature subject matter, because 8 year olds who are advanced readers are still 8 year olds and don't want to read about graphic violence and torture, and teens and adults who have learning difficulties or who are just later readers for whatever reason are still teens and adults and don't want to read about Billy the Bunny going to school or whatever the hell.
