It's very rare to see a Capuchin in the Laguna but over the weekend we had the pleasure of having one on our property until the dog's scared it away all too soon. 🐶 🐒

Apoyo Lodge hosted the Intimate Tropical Radiance Retreat last March and could not have been happier with the outcome so much so that it has decided to make this retreat an annual event.  4 days are spent at our secluded lodge nestled in a protected nature reserve on the shores of Laguna de Apoyo and 3 days are spent on a secluded pristine tropical island surrounded by clear turquoise waters off the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua.  Both retreat locations are completely immersed in the natural world which provides the perfect setting to “completely unplug from the outside world” but still maintains all of the necessary modern luxuries needed for a vacation.  All meals at the lodge will be vegan (meat & dairy free), refined sugar & gluten free and often raw with a strong emphasis on a abundance of tropical fruits, fresh organic produce, dark leafy greens, local nuts and seeds.  There will be a choice between vegetarian, vegan and/or fresh local seafood on the island which is never lacking in fresh coconuts and to-die for superfood smoothies and fresh squeezed juices to boot.  Early bird pricing for the 🐚2nd Annual Intimate Tropical Radiance Retreat🐚 is on now and lasts until December 1st.
