So, the LJ project is *mostly* complete (tagging communities, etc) but saving the fics is another matter entirely.
I recorded a couple of shorter ones but received no feedback, which makes me think that people aren't particularly interested in the podfic method or have taken a personal issue with it - IDK. The other option is using Wayback but it is not the most accessible of websites and difficult to navigate if you don't already know what you're looking for (plus, a lot of old journals ask that you not archive their pages).
So here's my dilemma: I am feeling deeply discouraged and isolated. This is a lot of work and could easily become even more laborious. While I enjoy SGA, I am not sure it's worth the effort to put all this together/share when the fandom shows so little support, and sometimes outright hostility for creators/organizers.
It's disheartening because this used to be an amazing community where all kinds of people & ideas were welcomed and celebrated.
I worry that nostalgia is clouding my reasoning and perhaps I need to accept that what I loved about SGA fandom is truly gone.
