David who reassures Irina that he helped Ilya with his cuff links on his wedding day, tells her not to worry about her boy.
David who tells Irina that her son is so loved and cherished.
David who plants a little maple tree as a "sign of friendship" in a park across from the cemetery Irina is buried in. He got to pick the place, and he made sure she would be able to see it.

The universal sewing machine fix is unthread everything, change the bobbin, change the needle, and rethread. Twice.
shane and ilya at their daughter's peewee hockey game, judging the FUCK out of the coach for roster mismanagement and mediocre in-game adjustments.
(they don't realise that this is a middle school annual tournament for kids and not the NHL playoffs)

"Great, lemme see." Jack scanned over the week. He had the 12-to-14 year olds on Mondays and Wednesdays, learn-to-skate clinic on Tuesday morning, and the five-to-seven year olds on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
He flipped to the roster list, just to see how many kids he had...when one name caught his eyes. "Oh, holy shit."
"What?"
"Maria Hollander? Age six?"
"So?"
"Are you brain-dead? That's Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov's daughter!"
"Great, she'll probably have a head start on her hockey skills."
"I am going to have to coach this girl's team while her parents, who are both in the Hall of Fame and have SIX Cups between them, judge me from the stands!"
"Maybe they can give you tips."
"Travis had Maria last year. He told me that Hollander used to lecture him for twenty minutes at a time about edgework drills and managing the long change. They were FIVE. Most of them could barely skate."
"Next you're going to tell me you had posters of one of them up in your room when you were a kid."
"One of them? Try both." He shook his head. "Fuck my life, man."
Just thinking of a future where Atlantis settles into being a colony rather than a military outpost and John and Rodney retire(ish) there and grow old in Pegasus with the beautiful family they've gathered together.
