Psychic Premonitions and Death
I want to share an experience. Before I start, I mean no disrespect to the family of the involved. This experience was real to me, and I wish I could have prevented the inevitable. I definitely tried but didn't have enough information. I lost a lot of sleep over it.
As I come into my "powers," I have had a couple of premonitions via dreams. In my first, I was driving across train tracks but became stuck on them when the barriers came down. A week or so later, I was driving and approached the train track. The barrier came down but then immediately came up again. As I contemplate on crossing, I remember the dream and don't go. The barrier immediately came down and a train passed. It happened exactly like the dream - I was even traveling in the same direction.
Another premonition was less serious. I had several dreams where I lost / broke my cell phone. From the repetitious pattern, I realized it could be a premonition. After leaving my night class, I am driving and look for my cellphone and can't find it anywhere. I go back to the university, realizing I probably left it in the classroom. It was there, lying on the floor. I quickly realized that my cellphone was missing because of those dreams.
This next one was the most serious and since, I haven't had any premonitions, that I know of at least. It was mid-afternoon on a Wednesday. I was well-rested but all of the sudden, I felt drained and went to sleep. I was only asleep for maybe an hour. My dream was very vivid. It was first person, as if I were in her body, but it wasn't me. It started at a wooded intersection at night by a fence. I was lost / running but not necessarily from anything / anyone. I didn't know much; I was confused and disoriented. I saw light nearby on my left and went into a public area - a restroom. I asked for help. Call the police. I asked where I was? Raleigh, North Carolina. I looked in the bathroom mirror and saw my face. I was young, blond. My hair was pulled up and I had heavy eye makeup. I was really pretty, but most of what stood out was my eyes. I left and took a right, going down the road that perpendicular from the one I came from. The dream ended with me finding a couple of people saying they were going to help and then it faded. I remember being in a neighborhood, on the side of the road.
I knew it was not a normal dream. I woke up with my heart pounding. I couldn't focus in my class that night. I contacted my go-to psychic and let me know it was a premonition and maybe she had abilities herself and unknowingly contacted me. I immediately scoured the internet for kidnapping, thinking that it could be that. I had some conflicting flashes of information. At the time, I thought it was all related, but now I know it was separate. The only case I could find was out of Tennessee, most of you know it. Elizabeth Thomas, who is now, thankfully, safe. It didn't fit, but it was all I had.
I was unable to sleep and literally searched the internet hours at a time for cases both in Louisiana and North Carolina. It wasn't until Sunday that I figured out the identity of my girl. When I saw the headline, I knew it was it. My heart sank. Lauren Maria Jenkins, 17, walked off from a car crash at an intersection of a road in Raleigh, North Carolina. I immediately google maps the location and pulled up the view mode. It was it. Every detail exactly the same.
At the time, she was still missing. They suspected she was drinking, and she had a head wound from the accident, explaining her confused state. A day or two later, they found her body by a lake nearby where she lived. I think she was trying to go home but took a right when she should have taken a left. She probably died of natural causes attributed to the accident and maybe drinking.
My feelings - I was grateful that it wasn't a kidnapping or something malicious, but I still wish I could have prevented it. Why have a premonition like this and not be able to do anything about it? The premonition was on Wednesday and Friday night the accident occurred on St. Patrick's Day. As a teacher, she was like many of my students. Wanted to grow up fast, live carefree and wild but didn't know balance yet. They were her, and she was them. I care about her like I care about them. I hope her family can find peace and acceptance eventually. These things take a while. Blessings to them and all affected.Â
