No seriously fuck those art youtubers who say you gotta do studies or learn anatomy or draw backgrounds or reference poses all the time. Just draw that anime girl hiding her hands behind her back, it's better than not drawing at all. Draw headshots, redraw old drawings, draw something simple and easy, whatever.

YOUR ART DOESN'T NEED TO BE GOOD, IT JUST NEEDS TO BE DONE!

The need for improvement is what gave me artblock for 5 years. I went from drawing multiple times a day to barely drawing 1 thing a month because of the need to improve my art and get out of my comfort zone. Turns out when doing art feels like a chore then you won't actually like drawing...and you'll never draw.

I think if you're crazy enough about drawing whatever and drawing consistently...then your art will just naturally improve even if it's slow. Don't listen to those art youtubers who try to convince you need to do daily anatomy studies to get good at art.

All that really matter is if your art brings you joy and you enjoy doing it!
