I learned a lot designing and making her; she's definitely the most complicated piece I've crocheted to date. There are still a few things I want to fix - but given that she's only my second attempt at designing a crochet pattern, I think she's turned out pretty well! And Murf agrees.

It’s here! The fic that started with the thought “so Vance and Rayner definitely explored each other’s bodies, right?”, before proceeding at warp speed all the way from pwp one-shot to pwp (porn with politics) multichapter tale.
The first few chapters are written, and I know where I want the rest of the story to go; I’ll space posting of the completed chapters out a little to give myself some buffer.

Chapter 23! The penultimate instalment, in which Una and Gabriel somehow get away with it.
If you’ve been watching these posts appear sporadically over the last, er, four years and thought to yourself “hmm, that seems interesting/weird but I can’t put up with a publishing schedule that appears to have been designed by some kind of concussed time traveller” (valid), then might I humbly suggest that now is a great time to dive in and start reading the whole thing - because the final chapter, 'lost and found’, is written and edited and will be published next Tuesday.
Made a crochet bone for crochet Moopsy
(Plan for version 3 of the Moopsy pattern: make the head bigger; less length in the body; do ... something about the back legs; try another different yarn; (try to) sew everything on straight this time (yeah right))
I've made several attempts at a polymer clay Moopsy, and also looked very closely at the various fan-made 3D print designs, and I am starting to wonder if Moopsy simply doesn't work outside of 2D animation? Things like the back legs and the length of the body seem to change from shot to shot, meaning that nothing we do looks quite right. (Also I am just bad at sculpting 3D objects; what I actually need is to get a 3D printer and design a Moopsy cutter that's just the face and ears...)
I'm very eager to get the official plush when it comes out and find out how it's executed. But what I mean here is that it's not YOU (you are an excellent patternmaker!), it's MOOPSY.
Oh, it's definitely Moopsy! I spent ages watching and re-watching and came to much the same conclusion as you did (i.e. that the animation is really inconsistent), so this is a sort of ... composite Moopsy? I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with those back legs, though...

I've had a bit of a creative drought for the last, er, few months, but I finished the second prototype of crochet Moopsy in time for Christmas (Christmoops?)! A few more changes to make before I'm completely happy with it, but a big improvement on version one.

A few changes to make for version 2, which will have at least 30% more butt and won't have parts sewn the wrong way round, but I'm pleased with how this came out!
