Conservatives: I hate Muslim people. Look at what that Muslim person did at that Orlando LGBT bar.
LGBT people: So, does that mean you care about LGBT people?
Conservatives: No! Gay people are pedophiles, and transgender women are just men who want to invade womenās restrooms and harass women! WE NEED TO PROTECT WOMEN!
Women: So, does that mean you care about women?
Conservatives: Shut up, feminazi! Women in the United States are not oppressed! If you want to talk about womenās oppression, you should be focusing on how women in other countries are treated!
Refugees: So, does that mean you care about people from other countries?
Conservatives: Stay out of our country! Why should we care about refugees when we have people here who need help?
Homeless People: So, does that mean you care about people who need help?
Conservatives: No! Get a job, freeloader!
this is accurate
Thatās what conservatives sound like. To a fucking letter.
Continual hypocrisy

REBLOG IF YOU HATE YOUR BODY
On this infamous Amerikan holiday, let us raise a toast to the bloated, decadent, moribund corpse of humanityās greatest empire! Already, she buckles under her immense weight, a thousand tiny cuts scarring her cancerous skin ā letās give her a hand in guiding her to her grave!
Victory to Iran, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, DPR Korea, and all oppressed nations in their struggle against imperialism and colonialism; death to the United States, her lackeys, and her bloodsoaked military! May they all burn in the fires of inevitable insurrection.
Happy #4thofJulyĀ ā
If you're struggling with something, that means it's hard
Here are some common reasons why something might be hard for you
your brain/body doesnāt allow you to do it the ānormalā wayĀ and so you have to compensate in a harder way
youāre trying to do something moderately hard while also feeling physically/mentally terrible (which itself is hard - think of trying to do a simple task while juggling. Not so simple anymore)
something else in your life is effecting this
Donāt beat yourself up for not being able to do something āeasy.āĀ Itās hard because itās *actually hard*. If it wasnāt youād just do it.
Ps- be super proud of what you, do even if itās easy for others. Accomplishing āsmallā things while feeling bad is something to celebrate
So true
Please reblog. Need help paying rent.
Can folks pleaseĀ help me out?Ā
Iām a queer transgender person who was homeless for seven years, and only gained legal housing finally back in November, 2017. I recently quit my job due to abuse from management - quitting was better than killing myself. Iām making almost half as much at a new job right now. On top of that, Iāve been in severe pain for months now, and repeatedly sick, due to having been unable to afford my medications - it means Iāve missed a lot of work. While Iām finally back on medicaid (though awaiting a DR appointment still), Iām not yet well enough to work full time.Ā
This past week, I kicked out someone Iād hosted for two weeks who I thought was a friend and whoseĀ āroom mateā had kicked him out. But, as I soon found out when I had to kick him out (he screamed at me multiple times, trashed my place repeatedly, ate most of my food, pissed all over my floor every day, and almost burned my house down by leaving a burner on with a pot on it and leaving the house) that he was going to pretend I, too, was his room mate, in order to garner sympathy to find a new place. ā¦He also tried his damnedest to get me evicted.Ā
So.. On top of all the pain, I dealt with extra stress from having him here and lost a lot of sleep, resulting in moreĀ pain and moreĀ missed days at work. Further, with him gone now, after the blow up he had on me, Iām dealing with the fallout of that on my mental health. Iām being easily harmed by things that usually wouldnāt bother me. Iām trying my damnedest not to miss work, but right now killing myself is just about all I can think about a good half of the time.Ā
Iām telling you all of this to say that I donāt have the money for my rent. My rent is $496 USD. Currently I have 20/496. And right now⦠Iām fucking terrifiedĀ Iāll be homeless again, after barely 6 months.Ā
Please, if you have some money to spare, can you send me some?Ā And if you donāt, can you pleaseĀ reblog this? Iāve been reaching out for help for days now and have felt thoroughly ignored. Itās not helping my want to kill myself.Ā
So..please. If you can?Ā https://www.paypal.me/MashaTate
The Tarantula Nebula (top center) is the largest, most active and most complex stellar nursery in our galactic neighborhood. It lies in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy that orbits our own Milky Way about 163,000 light-years away. This image shows the Tarantula Nebula and its surroundings in a visible light image spanning one degree.Ā The view is a mosaic captured with the Wide Field Imager on the 2.2-m telescope at the European Southern Observatory, La Silla, Chile.

CBC made a good documentary on adult ADHD and part of it really caught me off guard because i swear they repeated verbatim my life story for the past 3 years
full programme here:
http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/episodes/adhd-not-just-for-kids
My ADHD manifested in excellent in-class work. Excellent understanding in discussions. Excellent participation.Ā
My ADHD manifested in piles of homework left undone until the last possible minute, while I stared at them, thinking;Ā āI want to get these done. I understand the theory. It would take 10 minutes. I want to start, why canāt I start?āĀ
My ADHD manifested in fantastic reading comprehension - nigh impenetrable focus on interesting topics the first time Iām reading about them.Ā
My ADHD manifested in a complete inability to focus on reviews or re-reads, mind skittering sideways and away whenever anything was boring or repetitive. I sat down to study, my books open, my eyes on the text, and my brain clawing its way out the back of my head to focus on something else - anything else. Focus, focus! [No.]
My ADHD manifested in Articulating wings half-finished but still beautiful, in beautiful lineart and half-hearted coloring. In stories written passionately for days until I forgot it existed and never returned. In projects started and forgotten and started and forgotten a thousand times until my bins of project supplies piled up and my bank account shriveled down. No, it will be different this time - I LOVE this new thing. This new thing is my world, my destiny, my Everything. I CREATE and CREATE and CREATE and never FINISH.Ā
My ADHD manifested in confusion and surprise as time slithered away, hours passing like minutes and minutes seeming endless by contrast. An inability to gauge how much time had passed, was left, a task would take. An inability to hold dates in my head, because time didnāt feel consistent or even real.
Ā My ADHD manifested in watching someone talk and not understanding a word they said - literally hearing sounds and translating out only nonsense. In thoughts so loud I couldnāt speak coherently. In a conversation across the room shattering an idea I was trying to hold. Itās hard to think when youāre already thinking about everything around you.Ā
Huh. Wow. Now I wonder if I had that all along, too.Ā
My brother has it, my dad probably does, and my biological son does, and itās often co-morbid with autism, so itās really quite possible. A lot of this sounds like me, especially the part about creating and never finishing, and being unable to concentrate on anything thatās repetitive. I canāt even listen to human voices reading a book because Iām a speed reader and I read so much faster than human speech, and Iāve always thought of it asĀ āI need to drink from the firehose, the trickle I get from speech just canāt fill me fast enough.ā Itās like, if I donāt completely fill my brain with information, it will skitter off in the moments in between words and go try to do something else and then Iāll miss stuff.
Iām nearly 50 and I have diabetes and high blood pressure so I think I am probably not a good candidate for ADD medication, but I wonder if it would have helped if Iād had access to it when I was younger.
We all know that feeling.
