I wish so hard that I could just simply bring what these kids need to them, and for some of them we can, but only together. Honestly this picture just describes why I'm doing this. It's incredibly terrifying and awful that kids my age and younger have to go through days and nights without food. I want to make that change. I want these kids to have the same opportunities that I have.

There's so much hate and bullying in the world and whether it's with words or physicality it hurts and is painful.
There's a person out there in all of our schools that can't take it anymore. There's also a person that's in all of our schools that wants that kindness and wants to make a difference.
For this school in Colorado in 1999 this person who wanted to change the world was Rachel.

What Really is Important..
I've heard so many people complaining over the past week about some of the most petty things like that they don't have a date to hoco or that they are grounded from electronics. Seriously, we live in a country where we are so lucky to have schools to go to these events and electronic devices. Who honestly cares if you have a date to hoco or if you can't have your phone for 30 minutes. Is that really what is important to you? Go outside and just look up at the sky - without taking a picture of it! Just go look at it. Go look at what God created for us. How many times do you stop in the moment to just think about how blessed you truly are? I don't stop enough during the day to just say "Thank you, Lord for this wonderful creation and all of these incredible blessings." I challenge all of you, including myself, to give something your addicted to up for a certain amount of time. Even if it's only five minutes- that's better than that hour and five minutes you may spend on there. Give up facebook, twitter, instagram, tumblr, maybe even just your phone for five, ten or more minutes. At the end of the day this stuff isn't ours and it isn't even important. The only thing that's actually important is our relationship with God and how we are going to glorify Him.

Whether you model in a magazine or you modle pottery with Grandma, whether you're on the hot list or the not list, whether you're head cheerleader or a high school drop out, whether you're miss popular or you've never had anyone who you could call a friend, whether you love yourself or you can't stand to look in the mirror and you feel as if everything in your life is falling apart, whether you're a winner or you feel like the world's biggest failure right now. Regardless of who you think you are- the reality is that you deserve someone that would give up their life for you because you are powerful and strong and capable. Read about the women in the Bible- Esther, Ruth, Martha, Mary; these women changed the world forever and inside of you, each and everyone of you, is a woman with that same power and that same strength and that same world changing capability. Your responsibility is to find that woman and to set that women FREE. THIS IS WHO YOU ARE and any voices in your mind that try to tell you differently are from the enemy and the next time you hear them you say, "Nu-uh, Not me, Satan. I am a daughter of the living God. Cherished, loved, and adored above all things by the creator of all things for the glory of him who is greater than all things. I AM AWESOME." Please, don't forget it.
i believe in the good. i believe that everyone has a purpose and a dream to fulfill. i believe in something bigger and something better, and that's God.
