Please consider the following your introduction to the Warehouse 13 fandom, specifically focused on the Bering and Wells ship. (Should you find yourself looking for Pete/Myka centric content, please refer to the “Pyka” tag). Enclosed you will find basic Agent procedures including common dos and don’ts for new Agents, an introductory crew manifest listing fic writers, gif makers, graphics wizards, artists and many other talented contributors to the fandom, and a basic lexicon of Warehouse terms and language.
Please note: This document is only to be considered an introduction and is subject to revision and addendum. It is absolutely not to be considered a complete representation of the fandom as there are many, many talented, witty, funny people out there and not enough space to put them all.

AGENT PROCEDURES: The Rules
There is no Warehouse 13 fandom. There is only a collection of people who get really excited about the IRS. There is nothing to see here, its just a bad case of mushrooms….
Basic tumblr etiquette applies.
Do not repost other people’s graphics or manips without asking/crediting. For further details, please refer to Race’s fabulous tumblr etiquette post, Tumblr 101: Before You Post The Thing or How Not To Repost.
Do not hate on a character. Any character. (Except Sykes). There is not one single character that is worthless or annoying and if you think so, keep your opinions out of the tag.
Do not complain about how small the fandom is. Should you feel that the tag is unfortunately inactive, feel free to contribute. This fandom will get excited about Jaime and Jo photoshopped onto a ham sandwich (it’s been done).
If you have a long fic, its usually polite to put it under a ‘read more’ cut so you don’t clutter people’s dashes.
Also when posting fic please be sure to tag spoilers and trigger warnings such as dub-con, rape/non-con, blood, violence, character death, suicide etc.
When someone creates something particularly angst ridden, swearing at them is perfectly acceptable as long as you make it clear it’s in a loving way.
THE LEXICON: General Knowledge
The ship name for Bering and Wells is Bering and Wells.
Acceptable substitutes include: Angst and Pain, Whipped and Smitten, Twizzlers and Apples, Solving Puzzles and Saving The Day. No we are not changing the tag.
There are certain things the fandom as a whole is, in fact, aware of. They include knowing that Crowley is in the Warehouse. The actor’s name is Mark Sheppard and he has guest starred on every genre show. Ever. We also know that Simon and Kaylee are hooking up. We suspect they have kids by now. Captain Janeway also works with the Warehouse. Data is a bad guy.
The characters names are Mrs. Frederic, Steve Jinks, Myka Bering, Artie Neilsen (or Nielsen. There is actually disagreement between the show and the official show wiki on spelling.), Pete Lattimer, Leena, Claudia Donovan and Dr. Vanessa Calder.
Always watch the reblogs for fic. This fandom likes to add things to posts in a manner most sneaky. Also: tag fics and just plain epic tags.
Don’t mention tentacles.
“FUCK THIS SHOW” and “ANGST PLAGUE” are still legitimate tags in this fandom.

We have a religion. We worship our Mother Jo. Also known as “Captain Jo of the SS Bering and Wells”. Because no one ships it harder than Joanne Kelly. When something particularly wonderful happens, we often say “Jo Bless.”
