She doesn't allow him a single day of peace but sometimes she does regret it.

"You know, you could start cutting off your hair and selling it when you grow", Robin said. "You'd make a fortune selling wigs."

"Cut my hair? Do you even hear yourself?" Steve ran a hand through his luxurious locks to prove his point. They had a few moments before they had to go to Hopper's class.

"You've got hair in other places. Like your chest. You could wax it."

It was at that moment that Eddie passed them by. "Don't know what you're discussing but if it's about waxing, you better be talkin' about cars, Buckley."

"I am in fact talking about Steve." Robin leaned her elbow against Steve's shoulder. "Shouldn't he get big and shave off some hair to make wigs? ......Eddie?"

"Hm? I stopped listening after 'get big'."

Robin scoffed. "When he...gets to a certain size, his chest hair alone is probably a whole forest."

Steve crossed his arms, continuing the conversation about not only the logistics but who would even want a wig made from chest hair but all Eddie could think of was a wonderland of hair that he could quite literally roll in. He only tuned back in when Steve tapped his chin.

"Wipe the drool off, sailor."

"God, you need a mop", Robin pulled Steve along so they wouldn't be late.

"You should know better than to mention my body around him of all people. I don't know what you expected." Steve looked back to give Eddie a final wink before allowing Robin to lead him to class.

this is basically how i interpret the trans jax theory, everyone treating that shit as if its already canon when the evidence thats actually in the show is stuff you have to push/ re-contextualize is kinda annoying ngl. especially bc everyone is hyping it up as if its going to be a reveal in the final episode.

i think all media made by trans people has trans themes baked in automatically bc your perspectives and experiences influence your art whether you intend for them to or not. and jax is her favorite character, you can just tell. so does he have that vibe? absolutely.

i wouldnt mind if he was, thatd be cool, but id honestly need to see it be more of a priority in the show to connect to it as much as everyone else seems to be, tadc just doesnt have the time to develop it properly so its gotta stay in the realm of headcanon. itd feel cheap otherwise.

wavin at you. so question: how’d you get so good at drawing bodies? i’m pretty decent at them but you can draw bodies from just so many angles and in so many perspectives and that’s always hard from me. do you use references? how do you break the body down to be able to do those perspectives so well?

waving back at u hello!! tagging in ur other questions here so i can knock out as much as i can at once ^_^

i use lots of references! i used to use them by drawing over the silhouettes of poses i found on pinterest.

i don’t have any easy tricks or shortcuts to proportions unfortunately :’D i picked it up from observation just by doing this for so long.

it’s a fun way to learn, but can be restraining in terms of stiffness and also making u really dependent on seeing a reference before u can think of how to draw a certain pose.

now, i focus on what lines a body follows rather than the silhouette. i try to keep every section of the body to no more than 1-3 lines when first sketching.

doesn’t matter if the lines are accurate, just be bold w them!!!!!

this is a lot easier to me than breaking the body down into shapes, and it keeps everything more fluid.

it’s on these lines where i choose to exaggerate as well!!!

my fav exaggerations to do are flipping between curve/straight/curve/straight.

for example: on the left leg, i made the curve of the calf more pronounced while stiffening the straight line of the shin.

or on the skirt, i simplified the edges to single straight lines and the hem to one long curve :D

this comes back to my 1-3 lines habit, where i try to simplify everything as much as i can, but also it comes down simply to observation and practice…..which is unfortunately the worst answer ever but it’s true LOL my sketchbooks are packed right now, but i have many many pages of completely fucking up and drawing a leg one thousand times too long. the best thing to do is to draw quickly and boldly, even if it’s wrong 100 times, than to sit down and take forever trying to get it correct on the first try.

pen and marker sketching will force u to do this LOL. it helps to find pens and markers that are fun to use, especially for scribbling, bc then u will look forward to drawing more even if it turns out bad!!!
