One of the voice lines you get from the Amir Gemini Skin when you get on your atomicycle is the cutest fucking giggle I've ever heard, I swear to God.

Something I like and don't see talked about is the attention to detail DE put into the Hex. And for this, I'm talking about the difference in progression with the warframe serums between Amir and the others.

If you'd talked with Amir about how he ended up with Hex, we know that he took the serum either a little after or months after the Hex and it shows.

Where as the rest of them have there, armour plates developed both partially on the face and everywhere else, sides Aoi's palms and Lettie's legs.

Amir has armour plates missing in spots and tendrils that haven't developed into armour plating on his face yet.

There's artificial armour plating in certain places to protect since he doesn't naturally have them yet.

In-between his shoulder plates and forearms (and yes i know theres aready barely armour there on Volt but shush), his knees, his lower area, and I'm willing to bet, parts of his feet and around his lower back.

There's either artificial armour attachments, or extra protective padding if you look closely.

He's less progressed than the others with the serum. And I just think it's neat that it's visible:)

I will literally provide reference points if asked, but it's more fun to go take a look yourself.

My analysis in imagery form!

Which, I apologise in advance if my writing is hard to read.

To start off with taking a look into Arthur compared to Excalibur.

Not just for convenience but also because I literally only have Excalibur, Cyte-09, and multiple Volts. I have very few of the Warframes due to heavily being sidetracked usually.

Which, when looked upon closer, there is very, very little difference besides cosmetic differences. He is very developed and pretty much only not developed by keeping his head. He's not missing anything, nor does parts of his body seem half-way there.

A few of the notes I have actually written on him are just fun little, but probably missed cosmetic details.

Now, onto Amir, pre-warning the green-string board looking mess.

He has, a lot of subtle and noticeable differences between himself and his full frame counterpart that arent just cosmetic.

The general gist of it is that a lot of him isn't fully developed or softer than it should be. He's not as sturdy as a true Volt, so to speak. Nor is he at least slightly as protected in certain areas as a Volt.

Onto the faces.

Amir's is only semi developed like the rest of himself, his facial armour hasn't even started to develop, he's got the tendrils there but that's it. And the armour plates up the back of the neck are very short compared to Arthur's. His carapace barely reaches where it does with the rest of the Hex.

I will happily not shut up about him or the others. Rant with me as much as y'all would like.

Admittedly, I am easily won over by all organisms that attract flies with the scent of rotting flesh. But the octopus stinkhorn (Clathrus archeri) also has tentacles, a freaky egg stage, and blackish goop, so it’s my favorite now.
