A fav henderhop headcanon of mine is that Dustin rarely interrupts Jane or cuts her off while she's talking. Even if they're arguing, or if Jane is saying something particularily bad or mean about herself, which makes him swell with the urge to remove those worries from her mind. Instead, he lets her finish each thought and word. He understands that Jane has spent quite a long time learning how to put her thoughts and feelings into words, and she has only gotten better at it over time.

Jane notices and appreciates this. It makes her feel valued, understood, and heard in a way she hasn't always been.❤
