We’ve got four British artists on there (well, I did grow up here), but it’s mostly stuff from across the pond. That said, ‘Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down’ was never released in the US, but it was over here, and it was huge (hence it’s on my Spotify master playlist!).

There are songs from four soundtracks (Scream, Twilight, City of Angels and Cruel Intentions), proving that movies make my brain remember songs better.

..I came home angry and hungry and in my attention seeking attempt to nap I thought of something

I remember the days I started high school English. I'll always be hyperfixated on media I recently consume, and in those days, I loved Omori. (spoilers for the game ahead)

So for a first assignment, I wrote a very excessively long recount of the events of Mari's death in Basil's perspective. It wasn't supposed to be that long, but it was descriptive and I put so much hard work into it

I'll never forget how crushed I felt when I was told it wasn't how I was supposed to do it. Maybe it was because I've never handled criticism well, but I put hard work into something that was never supposed to be the end result

Then I thought to the last thing I ever had to write for English. For my second-year English final.

They gave me prompts, four of which I picked the one: "Describe a tense moment during a competition."

I was inspired by Tamba Ruiko. But that's not the point

I couldn't name her. I couldn't fit in what I wanted to highlight about her. For all they cared, she wasn't a main character.

I described even the judges, and that took over half a page. I think I barely escaped losing marks with that one

This makes me wonder if they tried to kill my connection with my work. Maybe, since examiners don't care as much as I do. To them, I'm merely another student.

Was this an attempt to kill my creativity as well? That's probably a stretch.

I dunno, I feel like I've done bad things before. I've lied and hurt people's feelings.

But I figured demon horns are for those who people really need warnings about when they meet them. I don't think I'm one of those people. I might be really far from it, in my opinion.

Maybe I wouldn't have demon horns. I'd probably have the curved ones, like goats have. I think that'd be cool.
