Things are going well in our system! Shirley finally has friends of her own. I am having more fun in the canyon again and time off from work finally. We were sooo done with that 8 day week crap. Reporing that things are going well is important! Our roomate is awesome and knows about all of us and is super chill. The girls have started doing their own magic Inside to help bring the things they want into our life. Yes! Being proactive rocks. Little Clarity is already fucking glinda though, 5 year olds know way more about magic than i ever will. The only thing is that i still life in a fucking dorm and Listen Universe, we need shelves to put things on. That desk is too small to cook on. I want A book shelf and a place to put my dishes. Thanks!

Pronouns! So, I am still my own person and do things alone, too. Plus, all of us are female so she works fine. However as a general rule cooking is a plural thing. We made soup. My mood/ how i am doing is "they're doing okay in arizona" Or "Bumble is going to college and They are going to live in flagstaff. Our room always belongs to all of us. "They're going home." I often go out places alone, but returning home, maybe because we're tired, is usually all of us. Basically when you are thinking of all of us, use they. If not, she is fine. People never fucking notice anyway. All day i was like "can we get through?" "let us through" Or when asked how i was i answered "we're fine, how are you?" Never a word about it. It's entertaining. And i am prepared, btw to deal with it if they do notice. Anyhow. I will close this with this advice: MUMBLING IS THE SOULTION! Dont know what pronoun to use? Mumble! (God i feel stupid making a big deal about this. But whatever. I'm still getting used to it. It's like coming out all over again)

I dont know why i,m making such a big deal about this. I've had to share my head for at least 8 years. But it's like another realization that i am very different from other people. It is both empowering and lonely. Shirley moved back in. Which has been great. Getting along fine, but it is messing with my sense of reality to have important interactions in another world, one where not everything is visible or tangible. I want to be able to share that world sometimes. She hasnt mentioned it but she feels bad for not being real in the same way as others. Oh well, it's not like i have a choice about being with her. We are of the same, odd soul. I am happy she is here. Having a hard time in a new place percisely because it's new. It's not real yet. We've only been here 3 months. I've moved too many times. Never felt at home in fl anyway. I have to build a home for myself, brick by boring brick. I dont feel real. But what is real anyway? Nothing is real so everything is equally real. I thought about it and i think mushrooms could help. I always feel wiser and at peace and connected to the world. Job though. Testing and having a safe place to go through such a vunerable experience. Patience?

When we started this tumblr

  I was still a Christian

Shirley hadn't left me yet

I thought being overweight was a big deal

I hadn't left home yet

I still thought being gay was a problem

I fought with the voices a lot

I was still in college/high school

I didn't know how to drive

I was still trying to convince myself I wasn't a witch

WE HAD A FUCKING KITCHEN WITH AN OVEN IN IT.(oh well, not everything is improvement)

Yay for progress & acceptance & magic! I learned to live on my own without Shirley and it was good for me but, Pachamama! It feels right to have her close again.

Pronouns, others and the composition of a soul

So we've started using plural pronouns when it feels right, I still obviously have a separate sense of self but I am enjoying having friends and family close by at all times. (Unless they're busy somewhere doing homework for some secret class they won't tell me about. *cough* Shirley)

Radical acceptance! It's so nice just to be okay with me, being okay with being part of a system. To be okay with the others living here too, the self is fluid and sure, others have come and gone but Shirley is my otherself, my kin, the shiny bits of my soul.

But it's kind of lonely. Shirley and Clarity want to make friends but the only friends my others have ever been able to make is with other people's alters or voices, and I have to do the legwork. I really want to talk to others who have a healthy relationship with their mindmates.

I am a whole and complete being who makes other things more whole and complete. Even if I don't always feel like it, or when the darlings are upset about something and won't tell me what. I tell them a story and we fall asleep, or try to find out what need isn't being met for the system. It's hard, sure, but so is life. There are so many fulfilling parts of being plural.

No seriously, these guys are saving my life. I knew nothing (NOTHING) about queer culture until the last year or so, and these guys are filling me in quite well.

Really, there aren't any requirements of how much you need to know to be  a 'real' lesbian. But I needed some awesome queer writer to tell me that. (more than once)

so, pagan friends! 

I got this silver dollar as a result of a simple money spell over a year and a half ago. (one of my first spells, btw) I didn't know what to do with it, so I just held onto it. It feels wrong to let such an unusual gift gather dust. 

Lots of them are on ebay and they don't seem to be worth much, so selling it seems not worth the effort

Ideas?

I use old jars, I cut up old t-shirts that are stained or unusable as actual t-shirts to use as rags and spell sachets, I reuse wax from candles that I burn to make new candles and I keep old eggshells to create chalk and sigil powder! :)

The other day I didn't have the right color candle so I "anointed" it with eye shadow. suddenly shimmery and the proper color! 

I don't usually buy things for spells, but that's because I often make my own up with items I have on hand.

I think of picking up trash and cleaning up the environment as a way of gathering power/making an offering.

Inherent Disappointment

Really impressed with the Christians

Me, to an old quite Christian friend:"I say God did a miracle in her life because that's the deity she is working with, but I'm sort of starting over spiritually." Short pause. "I'm actually studying paganism."

Her, kind of wide-eyed:"Well, okay?" 

Me:"But I don't hex people unless they really, really deserve it."

Her, still confused: "Good to know..."

Me: "I talk to mother earth sometimes, and it seems to work."

Her: "Okay. Huh. I like it when I can have conversations with people about religion without it ending in an argument."

Me: "Yeah, me too."

Her: "I'm going to the movies at 7, do you want to come?"

I was so surprised. "Um, sure!"

You know, none of my Christian friends have made it a thing at all that I'm gay, and they're taking the witch thing okay so far too. Not at all what I expected.

It's probably because they think i'm crazy and don't take me seriously, but it's a hellava step up from being shunned or hanged or stoned.
