After the latest MHA ep (the Deku v Bakugou one after the license exam for future readers), my Facebook news feed lost its mind. I've got Bakugou stans in one corner who think trauma excuses everything and the other corner just wants SOMEONE to beat the brakes off him. Meanwhile, almost no one is looking at this from a non black and white view and can understand that, while admiration or dislike is cool, there's layers to this. It's wild times we're living in. lol
whose fucking child is this
mine bicth
My doggo, Ezri, who rarely barks and mostly borks.
When I got her, sheâd been abused and would cower and pee at almost everything, and had been mistreated when sheâd barked, so she never would. One day months after I had her she got excited on a walk and borked at a bird, and then immediately cower-peed. I had to re-teach her to bark by gathering her whole human pack and having everyone bark and howl and feed her treats and pet her till she got excited enough to join in, and then got more treats. Took a while but I was able to teach her to bork on command (and sheâs gotta be excited or she just stares at me like âSorry, the bork system needs chargingâ) and sheâll do it happily when sheâs excited to go for a walk or upon seeing a friend, and at birds. I love her croaky borking, especially when she started off terrified of making a joyful noise.
What kind of dog is Ezri? I love her!!
I⊠did not expect this post to blow up this much but I am delighted at all the tags and replies and Ezri has been told the internet thinks sheâs a Very Good Dog. :D
Sheâs a German spitz - in the same family as keeshonds and pomeranians. She might be crossed with something else as her freckled coat, non-pointy nose, and personality are not standard for her breed (theyâre usually a lot more high energy and excitable - sheâs super laid back and chill). Sheâs a bit less fluffy than breed-standard too, mostly because sheâs grown out from her spring/summer trim (not usually necessary/good for her type of coat but she gets terribly itchy otherwise). It also makes her look like a puppy of a large breed:
Ezriâs best friend is Murder Cat, who is a gentle friend to humans and Ezri, but does things to mice that would make Hannibal Lecter go âIsnât that a bit much?â
I got Murder Cat as a kitten, and she used to try to nurse on everything when she was small. Eventually, she settled on her favourite thing to nurse on, Ezri, who has never had puppies and a little confused at first but eventually went with it. She grew out of it, but they have stayed snuggly buddies ever since.
New Years here is full of fireworks outside and Ezri gets Vry Scared. I usually set her up somewhere with a snuggly spot right by me, and Murder Cat comes and does this all night:Â
She goes everywhere with me in my bakfiets (cargo bike) and lets me warm my hands in her fur on cold days.
And her ears disappear if I say her name to get her attention.
ok so great thanks for coming to my TED talk about my dog, good night, drive safe
Always Reblog Ezri and Murder Cat
I feel like DMX would have a great quirk
Balconies during summer nights seem to be a weakness of mine
You ever make a throwaway cosplay suggestion as a joke, but then it isnât a joke? lol Between midterms and various other assignments, finishing this wig was the death of me. It was totes worth it though. I had tons of fun being Kaz even though I was staffing like 90% of the time I was in this. My Arcangelo is also like the funnest person to cosplay with.
Should I ever bring it back, Iâm going to do something about my dress shoes. I wore them the entire time I was staffing so by the time Arcangelo and I managed to get together, I had to snatch them bad boys off. XD
Also, if youâve never seen the masterpiece that is Jaden Smithâs Icon mv, please check it out.

dark bee tumblr show me the forbidden bees
this is the masked bee! she has no friends and hates everyone. Sometimes when she has kids she raises them alone and doesnât let the father come for day trips. she loves pollen but does not like waiting for it so she chews flowers open which is essentially stealing. we love her anyway.
these bees are homalictus bees! they are the rainbow gay bees. Females tend to live together in one nest and guard the entrance. one time we found 160 gay girls bunking together. Theyâre so irridescent and small that they might look like flies but they are really just tiny lesbians.
and this is the blue banded bee! she may look like sheâs wacked out, but really she is pretty chill. she just wants to live independently (or with some friends) in a nest or burrow and look after tomatoes.
this is a cuckoo bee! she is really cool! she goes into other beeâs houses and lays eggs there, and then when the baby hatches it eats the host beesâ pollen and lays waste to the hive, murdering and eating all the other bee babies! BUT ONLY if itâs mother bee didnât kill them all first.
thank u dark bee tumblr
This is the most successful thing ever!
this is dawsonâs burrowing bee! they are one of the largest bees in australia and they burrow into the ground to make nests. males are so aggressive that they will literally fight and kill each other to get a female! and if a particularly aggressive male does not get a female he will murder all of the other males out of rage! (and sometimes the females will be casualties of these brawls - here is a video of a bee brawl where a female get decapitated. these bees are very large and kind of look like half bee half cockroach. but the femalesâs fuzzy white heads are pretty cute! [photo credit]
and dark bee tumblr comes through for us again⊠we are so fortunate. thank u dark bee tumblr. thank u
Iâm mad that they missed the opportunity to use âles-bee-ansâ
This is a tree bumblebee- theyâre pretty similar to honeybees in that they have big nests with a polyandrous queen. However, these guys love to be around humans and in gardens, and are super resilient- there are now large populations in Iceland. They have a more complex social hierarchy than most bees, with multiple worker castes. If a worker gets close with the queen she can mate with a drone and lay her own eggs in with the big pile, but eat the eggs of any workers beneath her that try to do so.
This is a valley carpenter bee- the only bee that can thermoregulate and had a circulatory system complete with aortic arch. Carpenter bees are good because they are too big to get into many flowers and have to be extra hairy to get pollen. They live in raw wood in small family units of all females (mothers and daughters or sisters) and are excellent cooks and workers. Males cruise around mating with multiple females and then leave.
These are green sweat bees- they burrow in the ground and live in apartment complexes, where they all use the same entrance but then have their own separate burrows rather than one large room. Some have kids, some donât, so someoneâs always around to keep out invaders. Unlike most bees the males actually do quite a bit of pollinating and go out in groups.
dark bee tumblr has graced us once again with even more forbidden and secret bees we are truly blessed
Researchers have used Easter Island Moai replicas to show how they might have been âwalkedâ to where they are displayed.

Finally. People need to realize aliens arenât the answer for everything (when they use it to erase poc civilizations and how smart they were)

Whatâs really wild is that the native people literally told the Europeans âthey walkedâ when asked how the statues were moved. The Europeans were like âlol these backwards heathens and their fairy tales guess itâs gonna always be a mystery!â
Maori told Europeans that kiore were native rats and no one believed them until DNA tests proved it
And the Iroquois told Europeans that squirels showed them how to tap maple syrup and no one believed them until they caught it on video
Oral history from various First Nations tribes in the Pacific Northwest contained stories about a massive earthquake/tsunami hitting the coast, but no one listened to them until scientists discovered physical evidence of quakes from the Cascadia fault line.
Roopkund Lake AKA âSkeleton Lakeâ in the Himalayas in India is eerie because it was discovered with hundreds of skeletal remains and for the life of them researchers couldnât figure out what it was that killed them. For decades the âmysteryâ went unsolved.
Until they finally payed closer attention to local songs and legend that all essentially said âYah the Goddess Nanda Devi got mad and sent huge heave stones down to kill themâ. That was consistent with huge contusions found all on their neck and shoulders and the weather patterns of the area, which are prone to huge & inevitably deadly goddamn hailstones. https://www.facebook.com/atlasobscura/videos/10154065247212728/
Literally these legends were past down for over a thousand years and it still took researched 50 to âfigure outâ the âmysteryâ. đ
Adding to this, the Inuit communities in Nunavut KNEW where both the wrecks of the HMS Erebus and HMS Terror were literally the entire time but Europeans/white people didnât even bother consulting them about either ship until likeâŠlast year.Â
âInuit traditional knowledge was critical to the discovery of both ships, she pointed out, offering the Canadian government a powerful demonstration of what can be achieved when Inuit voices are included in the process.
In contrast, the tragic fate of the 129 men on the Franklin expedition hints at the high cost of marginalising those who best know the area and its history.
âIf Inuit had been consulted 200 years ago and asked for their traditional knowledge â this is our backyard â those two wrecks would have been found, lives would have been saved. Iâm confident of that,â she said. âBut they believed their civilization was superior and that was their undoing.â
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/sep/16/inuit-canada-britain-shipwreck-hms-terror-nunavut
âOh yeah, I heard a lot of stories about Terror, the ships, but I guess Parks Canada donât listen to people,â Kogvik said. âThey just ignore Inuit stories about the Terror ship.â
Schimnowski said the crew had also heard stories about people on the land seeing the silhouette of a masted ship at sunset.
âThe community knew about this for many, many years. Itâs hard for people to stop and actually listen ⊠especially people from the South.â

Indigenous Australians have had stories about giant kangaroos and wombats for thousands of years, and European settlers just kinda assumed they were myths. Cut to more recently when evidence of megafauna was discovered, giant versions of Australian animals that died out 41 000 years ago.
Similarly, scientists have been stumped about how native Palm trees got to a valley in the middle of Australia, and it wasnât until a few years ago that someone did DNA testing and concluded that seeds had been carried there from the north around 30 000 years ago⊠aaand someone pointed out that Indigenous people have had stories about gods from the north carrying the seeds to a valley in the central desert.
oh man let me tell you about Indigenous Australian myths - the framework they use (with multi-generational checking thatâs unique on the planet, meaning thereâs no drifting or mutation of the story, seriously they are hardcore about maintaining integrity) means that we literally have multiple first-hand accounts of life and the ecosystem before the end of the last ice age
itâs literally the oldest accurate oral history of the world. Â
Now consider this: most people consider the start of recorded history to be with  the Sumerians and the Early Dynastic period of the Egyptians.  So around 3500 BCE, or five and a half thousand years ago These highly accurate Aboriginal oral histories originate from twenty thousand years ago at least
Ainât it amazing what white people consider history and what they donât?
I always said disservice is done to oral traditions and myth when you take them literally. Ancient people were not stupid.
Just an experiment. Reblog if you actually give a fuck about male victims of domestic violence and rape.
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesnât
âYouâd be surprisedâ, said Xaldien, who just lost four followers and received a lovely âmen canât be rapedâ anon shortly after reblogging this the first time.
Yowch, disgusting.
If I donât reblog this, assume Iâm dead.
Always reblog this
If you Dont reblog this if u see it then i cant call u my friend
IF ANYONE TELLS ME THAT MEN CANâT BE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND RAPE, I AM SICKENED BY THEIR MERE PRESENCE ON MY BLOG.
If you disagree with me, unfollow my blog, block me and never look at my blog again.
If you want to debate about this or send anonâs about this, I will reply but your actions have consequences.
Out of 19000+ followers I have, only one of you actually reblogged about this issue, yet a lot of you have reblogged and liked a picture by playboy about catcalling and that how men should never do it.
Additionally, I have received abuse in my ask box (which I will be answering when I can) and threats. In particular death threats and rape threats.
I can see the real problem here already. Male domestic violence and rape is just invisible in our society because we donât want to talk about this because it just damages the status quo of this fucking website.
Iâm a male victim of child sexual abuse. We matter. Please, reblog this.
Please never forget male victims are real and it can happen to everyone/anyone
Make sure the romance is there on both sides people
Screw people who donât believe in male rape.
You canât deny this kind of shit. Saying men donât get sexually abused or raped is like saying that WWII didnât happen. Itâs ignorant and disrespectful and itâs a fucking lie!
Why the fuck a crime would only be comitted to one sex. Grow up people men arenât the evils there, itâs humans in general.
not really, as long as you donât ask me to draw verde
ÊâżÊ â the face of confusion.Â
Just got back from Daisho Con in the Dells. After coming home from Youma, I was hit with inspiration to cosplay Champa from Dragon Ball Super. I actually had to go to Kansas for a school thing that week though so this was done the days before Daisho. There are still a few things I want to add, but I had fun in it! There were a ton of food places in the hotel so I snapped a few pics drooling over the planetâs finest treats. lol Iâm hoping one of my brothers and the sister that actually goes to cons with me will be destroyers too next Daisho.
