What is the right way to fry potato?

Cut into big pieces and pan-fry them until goldish brown color tending them EACH to perfection.  It takes a lot of time and patience to see each piece wilt nicely on all sides and uniformly browned. Sprinkle it some garlic salt for a mild flavor and your choice of chilli/spice powder.

So why is this the right way to fry potato?

Chess, Islam and "The Immortal Game" Its interesting to read how the ancient Caliphs of Islam embraced Chess. Kudos to David Shenk for his book "The Immortal Game" which is not just for chess freaks but also anyone who is interested in the history of this ridiculously wonderful game and how it survived millennia. And to give you a fillip to grab this book, here is a quick puzzle, of course the puzzle itself is from Al-Adli's "Book of Chess" written in 840 AD... yes.. a 1200 years before this day :). Al-Adli was one of the strongest 'aliyat's (highest of ranks, something equivalent to today's GrandMaster). Grab this book today. In the following puzzle, its White's turn who need to checkmate black in 3 moves. I solved it in under 60 seconds. Whats your timing?
