there's like three crash bandicoot artists left on this site and crash bandicoot is a pretty dead fandom so I like to imagine that every time I reblog some Coco art they're scared shitless by my 60,000 follower bullshit
that's awesome tell em I said hi. and tell em I said to keep the Coco x Nina shit coming
correct
I complain a certain amount about how awful transmisogyny is to deal with even for a white and financially stable girl like myself. I dont sugarcoat trans life and the tribulations of transition.
But this is also true: transition is still one of the best decisions I ever made, it has increased my happiness to an extent on par with my marriage, it makes me capable of enjoying my marriage in the first place. Estrogen is the most effective antidepressant I have ever tried by an enormous margin.
For anyone questioning who might be reading this: it is hard. Transition is still so, so worth it. It makes certain problems more obvious and blunt, but being who you are meant to be gives you the strength and comfort necessary to face them. Being a woman and being in community with other women, Especially especially other women who had to realize they could be, has given my life color and purpose and meaning in a way i never thought possible. I can’t speak for all experiences or circumstances, but I am not special, i am not perfectly feminine, i am not flawlessly passing, i am a woman and i am loved as a woman. You can be too.
Wherever you are, however long it takes, just know that your sisters are waiting for you. I love you very much 💜
This is transfeminism!
If the woman that JK rowling posted an upskirt photo of had been a cis woman snopes wouldn't have said this was "mixed" and you know it.
Not that it was necessary, but I looked up definitions, and yeah, obviously "taking a photo under someone's skirt" is literally it. Fuck Snopes so fucking hard. I need them to explain to me how it doesn't fit the definition to a fucking t:
And what the FUCK do they mean, "public setting"?? Yeah, upskirts are mistly taken in public fucking settings! That's not an eycuse, that's part of the fucking issue
And truly what do they mean it was in public? Does that mean that the upskirt photos people take on subways dont count because other people are around? OF COURSE IT WAS IN PUBLIC THATS HOW THE PHOTO GOT TAKEN IF SHE HAD BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED AT HOME IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BREAKING AND ENTERING
what do they mean "it wasn't taken surreptitiously"? there isn't any implication here except that because Freda Wallace was in public, she consented to any pictures that might be taken of her? this is just "look at the way she* was dressed". snopes is doing rape culture.
It's called the Global Justice Report, it is here. This is an actionable plan which can be sent to legislators and demanded of political parties. We could save the world within our lifetimes.
It has always been possible. It is still possible.
digital selfharm is real. do NOT check up on that ex-partner/ex-friend. do NOT reread those old messages/conversations that you know will hurt your feelings all over again or that will otherwise make you feel like shit. do NOT block evade to see if you’re being talked about. inhale. exhale. let it pass and you’ll be better for it.
it's kind of crazy climate change has occurred at such a remarkable pace that I and everyone else around my age can remember a completely different climate in our childhoods. I truly watched winter gradually disappear in my life.
"You're too young to remember this, but there used to be so many insects outside that you would have to clean them off the windshield after a long car ride" is the kind of sentence that would have been in a cheesy scifi short story earlier in my life, perhaps submitted to a literary magazine and accepted to show support for its environmentalist message - now it's something I've said in earnest.
Something good finally comes from Ohio.

So let me scream it from the hilltops:
Stop hitting kids. End of sentence.
If you think, “but I was hit and I turned out just fine” let me pre-reply: NO YOU DID NOT. You think hitting a child is ok, how the fuck does that qualify as “fine”?????? From one abuse survivor to another: please start healing yourself.

YOU GOTTA BE FUCKING KIDDING ME TUMBLR
So annoying. So GD annoying.
The World Health Organization report I highly recommend because there are so many conclusions that are shocking and yet completely obvious.
For example, being exposed to corporal punishment as a kid makes it more likely for a person to commit domestic violence against a partner. In places where corporal punishment is normal, people are more likely to think that rape and intimate partner violence are normal. Kids who are spanked are more likely to be violent with and to bully other kids.
Spanking is literally teaching a kid that violence is okay and normal and it affects the whole society.
It also talks about how corporal punishment affects the brain in its development. It changes the structure of the brain and slows the development of mental abilities. Kids who get spanked have much stronger hormonal responses to stress.
If you see this this is your sign to transition. Do it. you'll be happier.
White queers, we need to unlearn our racism. No, trans women are not the black people of the trans community. Black trans people are the black people of the trans community. PLEASE. Unlearn your racism.
tried to be the main rival to the beautiful protagonist girl but after i gave my speech and crossed my arms and went Hmph! Like you could ever match my resolve! she looked at me and tilted her head like a dog and said "sorry but do i know you?" and i just had to pretend like i was mistaking her for someone else. i was like really apologetic. she asked if i was mistaking her for a random girl who happens to look vaugely like her and i had to own it and just be like Yup thats totally who i meant and because miss protagonist is just so nice she opted to take me to the girl in question holding my hand and humming pleasantly cus i think she thinks im like autistic or something and then when i got there to the girl i was way too thoroughly humiliated to wanna say anything anymore but protagonist girl was like "mori here has something shed like to say to you!" and this random girl (who i've NEVER spoken to btw) was like "hm? what could mori want with me?" and i was just like "u-um.. yyou're just.. a ppetty wwanna be.. and youll nnever match.. the strength of my resolve.." but i totally mumbled it out like a little kid staring at my shoes and she asked me to speak up and i started crying and she was like "oh so thats how it is? are you asking me out on a date?" and i was like mentally i was like NONONONO because id never ask another girl out on a date for one and ive never even spoken to this girl for two but protagonist girl being the way she is shes all like "awww, young love is the most adorable thing! you should definitely take her out on a date!" so this random girl ive never spoken to (who i'm learning is kind of a rebellious type) is like "heh. okay. lemme take you out on a date then. meet me at the arcade after school, we can catch a movie after too" said leaning back in her chair with a smug grin and obviously im way too stunned and embarassed to speak and protagonist girl is like "aww! lovely idea! arent you excited mori?" and i just kept staring at the ground mumbling and going like "yyeah" because i reallh just wanted the situation to be over and protagonist girl was like "i'm so glad i could bring you two together! ah.. this is refreshing! hey! if you two become a couple you have to hang out with me!!" and random girl was like "you can count on it babe" and then winked at me and honestly it reallt freaked me out anyways im in the movie theatre right now and as im writing this she just put her hand on my thigh while sipping from her soda and i have absolutely no idea what to do or say but im pretty sure she was smirking and i think im fucked. i think its over for me. i dont think theres any coming back for me
i think i need femboy culture to die like yesterday actually
like. this is so bad it had me stunlocked at the start. i didn't even know what to be upset at
1. this is not from a porn site or anything. this was platformed on youtube by someone who seemingly "tries to keep the community as SFW as possible". no one will be surprised by this because the femboy self-sexualisation is so commonplace its absence is more surprising than its presence at this point
2. "princess boy" feels like a direct parallel to "lady boy". i don't need to explain why this is insanely transmisogynistic
3. the fish guy immediatly switching from "this is pretty wife" to "this is sex toy tranny" upon learning that the person isn't "an actual woman" reveals how absolutely normalized it is to view transfems as sex objects to be freely abused, always treated worse than both cis men and cis women would be
4. the femboy character's response to being promised continuous sexual violence by a group being "cool thanks" reflects how the femboy community will do one of 3 things when confronted with the real violence transfems face : completely gloss over it, turn it into a joke, or say "that's hot" and turn it into more fuel for the degradation of transfemininity through sexualisation. this somehow manages to be a bit of all 3. mainly the third though
5. it's the "trap" trope all over again. "i look like a woman but i'm actually a dude! i'm being deceitful i could never actually be a girl!" transfemininity once again treated as a costume that makes you incredibly desireable. but only as a sex object, not as a person or equal. and only if it's a costume, if you're actually transfem you're lower than dirt. hot and fuckable and lower than dirt
i don't know how anybody involved in the process thought it was a good idea. it just. feels bad all around. like it was fabricated specifically to make me lose my marbles. and i probably missed a lot this is just off the top of my head at 2 in the morning with the entry-level transfeminism i absorbed through osmosis by listening to so many smart transfems on this site

... yearning for cybernetics again. chop my legs off, i'm so tired of them hurtin all the time.
this is my lil hot take but I feel weirded out that sinkdog seems to be the more "acceptable" fetish art out there along with people attaching deeper and melancholy themes to the character while somewhat ignoring her origins as fetish art.
and I'm not saying fetish art isn't art it very much is important to art history and the process of creation, but at the same time, other fetish art is NOT treated the same with a semi cult following or praise. it feels...very weird to say the least.
but also ppl can draw her however they want
Shoutout to all the trans girls out there who were forced to live as miserable boys during the 2000’s or 2010’s, missing out on all the weird sparkledog scene rawr xd era and who are now gloriously reclaiming this time in their adulthood. All power to you. Be blessed now and forever, colorful creatures. Go outshine god.
