I really am happy with her. I wanted to give small nods to Aprils across the board.

It has come to my attention that Mighty Ducks: The animated series is 30 years old this year

I don’t think TMNT makes me feel old because the comic came out when I was 2 so it has just always been part of my life

But MD:TAS… oof. It had a hold on me from 1996-200? Something. It and the fandom got me through so much they don’t even realize. I will always be grateful to the best worst B-Rated Cartoon community ever!

So, her name is Turbulence DuCaine. And she checked all the boxes that make a bad OC. But she was a stepping stone. She helped me learn to write, helped me learn to draw, gave me an escape when things were not good. There will always be part of me that has her in my heart.

I want to say welcome back, and I love your designs for your AU! I was wondering how do you usually rank the turtles from favorite to least favorite? If you have a least favorite, that is.

Ooooohhhhhh if I had to rank…mind you I love all of them so these are by millimeter differences. This is also an over all ranking and not for individual versions

My top is Mikey. He is my boy and has been since I saw him on the big screen in 1990 Lol

Then Donnie, it didn’t use to be but I love how they have evolved him across the universe

Then Raph, I have a few head canons about him I will post sometime but he is the one I fell in love with potential

And just out of technicality Leo. He is like Donnie in that he has grown on me over the years, but I actually think they could push him farther. But if someone gave me a Leo plush instead of a Mikey plush I still wouldn’t be disappointed :)

So been thinking of TMNT and how they work through daily survival.

I live in the western part of the US so I was digging through New York culture

This is a bit of hear me out from my research for this head canon

We know they do supply runs, whether they just steal food or leave money behind. They live in Manhattan so very urban resources. However, they go all over New York City which would include things like Long Island, Queens, Staten Island, Jamaica Bay, and coastal Brooklyn. They are reptiles whether red earred sliders, generic turtles, or different species.

I think all four of them would 100% know how to get clams, blue crabs, and mussels. Heck even just basic fishing.

Then you can dig deeper into it where they could forage wild mushrooms, edible greens, berries, cat tails, wild onions, etc all while still in New York City.

I don’t think they do it a lot because it takes time and they still have to be careful to not get caught. But honestly it feels like something that would fit in.

Then you could add ideas of Leonardo having knowledge of New York medicinal plants, and taking forging days.

It is very common where I live that lower income and homeless fish out of our canals and then people of all economic backgrounds fish out of stocked city ponds, so I feel like these kind of aspects weave in well with their life style and needs.

It couldn’t be year round because some times of the year are too cold, but during warmer months supplementing their supplies this way works for me.

I would love to hear your thoughts and feed back on these thoughts!

I have never animated and really wanted to try

So I drew a scene from 10 years before the start of my AU Story.

Raph and Mona had a whirl wing. She finally wanted to open up and tell him how she felt. Raph got scared and returned with “Naw, It’s not like that”

They haven’t seen each other since then. But don’t worry, that is only how it starts.

Will need to keep practicing animation, and definitely try to make it cleaner next time. But was good for first time practice.

Ok, back to redesign

So in the AU I have been writing, Usagi is a Tsuki no Usagi, a Yokai Moon Rabbit. His job was to guard and protect the maidens that make the mochi. But TCRI pulled him from his world for spoiler plot reasons lol

Mona rescued him and has been taking care of for the last year. She loves him like a little brother and is doing what she can to get him home.

And yes, Leosagi will be a thing.

Since I just did Young Master Splinter I figured I should do Old Master Splinter from my AU

This is from my AU that still needs a name. Yoshi was a wakagashira before fleeing to the US with Tang Shen and turning into Master Splinter.
