I can't believe we're all talking about another musician suicide. Not very often can I remember hearing something for the first time but I certainly remember hearing Linkin Park. #HybridTheory was on continuous loop in my CD player during my High School years and absolutely influenced my early song writing by being simple and catchy. I remember covering LP songs one of which being "One Step Closer" for Joe's last show in the band (Blacklisted or Fuse27 whatever you want to call us) in which he sang, Ray played bass, and I played drums at @amityvillemusichall (then VP South). I saw them at least 3 times during the early years and while I fell off as a fan by the 3rd album, I can still throw on their early stuff and it takes me back to that time.
