on the one hand this is a joke post because lol i have never made a good post in my life, but also, if i hadn’t made the connection between this update and my sudden nosedive in activity, i would have been really fucking discouraged about all the shit i’ve been working on lately. i guarantee there are people on tumblr right now who haven’t made that connection, and who are trying to figure out why suddenly no one likes anything they’ve made. and that fucking sucks.

Reminder to go into your settings and turn off ‘Best Stuff First’ because my activity’s tanked a couple days ago for no reason so this stuff IS happening.

You WILL miss content with that setting on.

We interrupt your regularly-scheduled sci-fi content because this is important for app users, and it sucks. We all follow blogs because we want to see their content, not to have a crappy algorithm decide what’s best.

This blog is down approximately 80%, which doesn’t affect me other than as an annoyance (as this is a hobby and @okayto is small-ish) but the issue undoubtedly hurts others.

Below are instructions for turning it off. You have to do it individually–it doesn’t matter if a blog you follow turns it off, you’ll still be affected unless you do the same.

I know I have turned this off in the past, but after seeing this post, I checked it, and lo and behold, it was turned on! Please go in your settings and see what you’re set at.

Note that this appears to only be a thing on mobile. I turned it off like 2 years ago and on mobile it still shows as “off” for me, but it’s always worth double checking.

On desktop there does not appear to be a setting for this.

I’m honestly just out here yelling into the void so I’ve never even looked at my stats. But I turned this off for myself because clearly Tumblr has no clue what I (or anyone likes) so I’d like to see stuff chronologically please and thank you. It hasn’t turned itself back on for me but it’s worth a check.

You know how they say never to shop on an empty stomach?

I promise this is going fo be important later just not now. I grabbed what I thought was a chocolate frog... well. Chocolate. From Walmart earlier today while shopping. My sick, lowkey feverish, confused brain misread squishy toy as chocolate or somehow skipped over that entirely. I now have a chocolate frog shaped stress ball in my room that I cannot take to work because work sucks.

That prologue is no longer canon. I have better ideas where to take this AU while still keeping main characters main characters while also adding a bit of horror to what would have been a more action based AU

Finally got page one and the prologue done. Yep. This is the entirety of the prologue. For chronological knowledge here, because this is a bit of a time mess without having time travel (without too much spoilers, this particular AU takes place in a larger span of time than just 32 or so when Henry left the Stufio to 52 or so when he comes back like in game canon). If Tumblr bungles the upload and the panels are out of order, don’t worry. I put a caption on each panel with the number of which it is to make all lives easier. From here out, on a work standpoint for me and a quality standpoint for you.... all panels are going to take one page of my sketchbook. I don’t have a working drawing tablet, so this is what I can give you. I also don’t have a scanner for my laptop. That said. Holy frick guys. We’re getting started.

Taaaaa-daaaaaaaaaa!!! The title page! I initially intended for this to be a colored comic, but... it looks better like this to be honest. By a lot. Who is Itzabelle? Why does Henry look so old in comparison? WHY IS JOEY DREW THE PERSONIFICATION OF “IT’S NOT A PHASE MOM”?! All will be answered! Maybe. I’m not promising anything.
