           Arceus, when did this girl not think of her friend? Because apparently she talked too much about him. She thought and thought, trying to think up a recent, more significant time. “Well, I was going to deck a guy for insisting on fighting with weakened pokemon. His pokemon were too tired to fight and yet, here was this jerk trying to get them to battle me… I told him I’d refuse to battle pokemon that were too tired to battle. 

           And while I wanted to just scream at him, I realized that’s not what N would do; I realized that N would try to reason with the guy so, I made a mental list,  to help me decide things on my own without needing N to hold me back if I get too rambunctious. First on the mental checklist, is it possible that this person can be reasoned with?  If the answer isn’t no then I have to try, Second on the list is Will there be consequences to assaulting this person? If so, is or will it be worth it? If its a maybe or a no then I need to rethink it. Third, If the person can’t be reasoned with is there a way to resolve the problem without violence? And I have to really think about this one because if it’s a yes then I work it out, if not then I go back to the first two steps and run through the options again.”

           “Since then, I’ve been sticking to the mental checklist; I think about N whenever I might deck someone and kinda feel he might disapprove so I stop and think if its worth it. If violence or at least a good punch might be necessary and there isn’t a single doubt in my mind it is necessary then I can go through with it without guilt… but if I have doubts I’d rather step down.”
