Thank you for the ask! I'm not sure if you meant in canon or my verse, but I'm just going to talk about my own verse.

His relationship with Jervis is one of the deepest and healthiest one he has, despite the fact that they have not always treated each other well. The reason it's as healthy as it is, is because they can actually talk. They can talk about sensitive things, they can talk about things that hurt, they can talk about how something the other did made them feel. They can be honest with each other, they will listen to one another and they are willing to actually work on their relationship. This all makes it a rather drama free relationship.

All in all, because Jonathan trusts Jervis so much, he doesn't react very badly to him befriending others, but even so his insecurities and trauma do still cause trouble. When he sees Jervis really enjoying someone else's company, he does fear he might lose Jervis. He has such low self-esteem that he feels he's not good company, that he just sucks ass in every way, he feels he has nothing to give to Jervis. He can even begin to distance himself from Jervis, thinking Jervis has found someone better to replace him with. However, this is the moment Jervis would realise something's going on and just ask Jonathan what's wrong and they would talk about it and it would be fine.

ANYHOW, what I find fun and interesting to think about is Jonathan's reaction to Jervis' friendship with Hugo. Jonathan has developed like a sixth sense for spotting bullies but he doesn't even need it to recognise Hugo as one. Hugo hasn't even done anything particularly horrible to Jonathan in my verse aside from being rude and shitty, but name a person in Arkham Asylum who isn't rude and shitty. Jonathan just hates him on principle, because he can smell the school bully on him. Also he's rich and athletic like so many of Jonathan's bullies were. That's why Jonathan can never truly accept or even understand why Jervis would be friends with Hugo. Idk, I guess that's the only time Jonathan would feel a little bit betrayed my Jervis befriending someone else, because he thinks of Jervis as the fellow bullied kid and now he's all chummy with the enemy???????!!!!!!!!!!!

my friend's discord server has a "proof of touch grass" channel where they post pics of them doing regular activities outdoors/in public. i think many online spaces could benefit from such a thing

when i was super depressed - like struggling to eat anything barely able to get out of bed to pee depressed - my good friend asked me every day to send her a picture of me holding a leaf and a picture of a meal i was eating and it helped me significantly

(also, she was never judgey - if my meal was a single potato chip she would simply say good job eating a potato chip today <3 )

I don't remember where I saw that "La Puta Madre" had a rather effeminate presentation, as a kind of challenge to other Villalobos drug lords who were traditionally much more masculine. In any case, I love thinking about this proto-narco aesthetic, which highlights a culture that I've always considered a direct reflection of Mexico and Brazil (Mesque).

It's genuinely based of you to like Cars 2 and admit it. I loved that movie when I watched it, but it felt like everybody hated it.

i LOVE cars 2 okay i think the writing of the plot is actually good. like to be so for real. the plot twists are genuinely good and like the final 30 minutes are actually thrilling. mater is kind of obnoxious but like this is such a fun movie to watch with friends mostly because no one expects the intensity of it. no one expects cars to get like killed in explosions and interrogated and blown up in an international intrigue scheme to damage the reputation of greener fuels for cars forever and to maintain the oil industry like it kind of goes crazy. anyway
