"ADHD red flags/symptoms/signs that aren't talked about enough
-Unbearably intense PMS (v common in neurodivergent women)
-being clumsy as f*** (especially in busy/overwhelming situations)
-finding boredom almost physically painful
-thinking you might be deaf because you miss so much in conversation
-struggling to control your volume
-poor gross motor skills e.g catching a ball/skipping etc
-having intense one on one friendships, rather than a group of friends
-being extremely sensitive to media (for me that would be horror films- eesh)
-being a problematically fussy eater as a child
-defaulting to the 'child' role in relationships
-being a late bloomer / finding our sexuality later than our peers / delayed rebellious phase
-going into 'hermit mode' when feeling overwhelmed or feeling sensitive to rejection (i used to bring my book to school to read during break times)
-disordered eating & body dysmorphia
-feeling, from an early age, an inherent sense of shame
-hyperfixating on friends
-hyperfixating on crushes
-huge, intense emotions (good and bad) that often don't match up with your thoughts
-hypermobility (up to a third of ADHDers have this)
-auditory stimming (e.g listening to the same song over and over)
