I used to have an old nt friend group (I don’t talk to them anymore thank GOD) in middle school who used to make a lot of sex jokes. Now, this was fine I guess, we were all immature 13 year olds, but I was a bit uncomfortable with it because I had a close call altercation with a cousin the summer before that I won’t get into the details of. So, I told them that I was uncomfortable and the reason behind it, and these assholes were like, “okay that’s cool, but we don’t really care. Our job isn’t to make you feel comfortable.” Like what the FUCK. I just expressed some emotional vulnerability and was met with blatant disrespect. No idea how it was them who left ME in the end, but nobody should ever be forced to deal with that.
