one of the biggest reasons vox was so gutted and angry with alastor at the end of s2 is bcs even then, he still thought everything was part of their "game". even if he was hurt and angry and vengeful beyond words, even if it was still so fueled with hate. "i know you feel it, too." THAT'S what vox said when he had alastor tied up in his office. there has to be a level of rivalry and understanding in what they were doing, right? why hadn't al killed him then? why engage for this long? from vox's pov, there has to still be a reason!

and then alastor frees himself, and tells him to his face that vox was nothing more than a stepping stone. an idiot. this all meant nothing. vox tells him he'll beat his ass. alastor says he'll finally torture and perma-kill him on his broadcast. and of course, alastor undoubtedly feels more complicated abt vox than this, that engagement IS confirmation, their past outright confirms how close they were, he makes no move to actually kill vox in their final battle despite having countless opportunities, he still trusted vox to be the one to get him out of his deal and that is a MASSIVE, MASSIVE concession from someone as paranoid and distrusting as alastor. but vox doesn't know that. and alastor doesn't show that. what else is he meant to believe?

why is vox so upset? he lost everything for nothing! why is he so hurt? he was made a fool and now everyone hates him! why did vox try to kill alastor so permanently? alastor told him to his FACE he's gunna kill him first! his actions are a direct response!

and this isn't to say that vox is some poor woobie who did nothing wrong blahblahblah, it's his own hubris and ego and short-sighted obsession that helped lead to his downfall. but if you ignore how none of this would've happened w/o alastor's direct, malicious involvement. to not understand why vox would escalate in the first place. to not get just how push and pull their twisted ass dynamic is. idk i think it's a massive disservice to both characters.

Can I ask why you like ItaSuku? I mean, why do you like seeing Yuuji as the top? I’m not judging you at all—I, too, LOVE ItaSuku with all my heart, and I’ve realized that, to my great fortune, there are more and more ItaSuku artists out there 😭❤️

ngl I’ve been wondering whether I’d ever get asked this question since… well *gestures at the fandom* and *gestures at whatever the hell I’m doing* so….. Y’KNOW. 

anyway, my answer is going to be immensely anticlimactic, as the main reason why I like to see yuuji as the top is because… I think he would be really into it and that’s hot as fuck. that’s it. that’s the reason why I like to see this guy as the top lol but to give you a bit more context, I’ve always considered yuuji as a top. ALWAYS. I mean before ItaSuku there was ItaFushi and later even ItaKugi. I didn’t even actively ship these two ships, but in my head, I always knew that no matter which other character yuuji is paired up with, he would ALWAYS be the one topping. why? because it simply felt right. 

yuuji genuinely seems like the type of guy to me who ENJOYS topping, and that is a very crucial factor for me (and my dick specifically) that determines whether seeing a character topping another character gets me hard. and seeing tops enjoying themselves and wanting to devour and taste every inch of their partner’s skin and more importantly getting off on either seeing or bringing their partners’ pleasure or both, is what gets my rocks off. and yuuji?? to me yuuji checks ALL those boxes, the way no other character does and I am particularly picky about which character I’d like to see top tbh. 

and these are only the reasons why I love top!yuuji, but why I love ItaSuku in particular?? I mean… *gestures at the manga and at all the official arts of them* isn’t that enough of a reason?? but yeah ok, I won’t lie… ItaSuku came a lil bit BEFORE the major itasuku canon events lol so I knew that I like top!yuuji and that I’m not interested in seeing sukuna top literally anybody, so by the process of elimination he ended up bottoming instead and that’s when I thought to myself “damn that’s hot as FUCK”. the end. 

lol I’m downplaying it a bit. in reality it was more like I got hit by a lighting, like I finally tasted something good and only wanted more, and that’s how my obsession started and canon only solidified it, cause what truly sold me on ItaSuku and top!yuuji of it all, is their dynamic. it’s the fact that yuuji has absolutely no qualms about hurting and being violent towards sukuna, while at the same time he’s more than happy to display a deep level of affection and softness towards him too. sukuna gets the best of both worlds in the form of itadori yuuji, and the guy is clearly into that. I mean with the way he folded in the afterlife and then danced w yuuji, while being the one leading the dance and thinking of yuuji as his yorube... and all.
