In mine and many other east Asian cultures, the dragon traditionally symbolises things like power, wealth and strength (imperial symbol and all)

I think we often forget that in the story of the Great Race, the dragon came in fifth because it'd stopped to give people rain. Then it'd stopped again to push a rabbit adrift on a log across the wide river so it reached the shore safely (that's why the Rabbit year comes before the Dragon).

Dragons aren't meant to just be powerful - they are meant to do good with such power, and to help those in need.

So in this lunar new year, I hope you gain more power, so that you might be able to help others. I pray you have abundant resources so you may give to yourself and those around you. I wish you courage, endurance, kindness and generosity, for yourself and your people.

Fun addition - since CDs and the tech to play them are disappearing, be sure to save your bought digital media to a USB or external hard drive. Some bought media is encrypted, but there are ways around it for some - for example, Audible files can be downloaded, but aax files can't be shared or used elsewhere. If I bought an audiobook, I want to lend it to friends same as with a physical book! For this, inaudible was an easy to use open source Mac friendly free software that allowed conversion of aax to mp3 files, removing the dumb barrier to my purchased property. If anyone has any similar solutions for downloaded videos, bought movies etc, please add below!

deviled eggs are delicious bc, while hard boiled/cleansed of sin, as the name implies the sin has been artificially added back in (via mayonnaise)

raw eggs are indeed the Most Delicious, which is why consuming them inflicts divine punishment (salmonella) unless they have received exorcism (pasteurization)

rotten eggs smell like that bc the sin has been absolved. as with most things in life, the church is to blame
