Edit: Saline beats milk—it is AGAINST the usage of pouring milk into your eyes. It is suggesting that if you do not have access to a saline solution or water somehow, milk is your far LAST resort. It’s not a substitute. Use WATER above all else, it’s incredibly accessible
It's been a while since I last posted soooo I'm gonna be sharing some protesting tips I've learned (please PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE correct me if any of these are wrong to avoid a spread of false information like with phone bags that supposedly 'prevent tracking' when they do not)
Face coverings to prevent face recognition technology from getting you in trouble, smoke/tear gas inhalation, and to keep things out of your eyes. PS no eye contacts, chemicals can get trapped in them.
No jewelry, piercings, tattoos. Not only could the accessories get lost, but they can also be used to identify you. Tattoos can be used to identify you as well, and potentially get you labeled as a gang member even if it's an awareness tattoo.
Don't wear recognizable clothing. Normally, I'd say go with plain black clothes, but with the heat coming this summer, anything works.
Bring at least one other person with you. Recent protests have had people coming in with weapons in an attempt to hurt protestors! Having someone with you increases your safety, especially if you are a minor. (Other minors, please do not go if you can't bring an adult with.)
Saline is said to be better for your eyes than milk, so if you are able, please bring some. If you end up not using it for yourself, it may help someone else in need.
Document everything. This is especially important if police start coming with guns and tear gas. They have already made it clear they will attempt to murder people who are not violently protesting, and recording as much as possible can spread awareness.
Do NOT panic. Frantic behavior can be twisted into violent behavior and give them reason to open fire. Try to calm down as many people around you as possible if they start to get anxious.

Not enough people are worrying about this. 'This' being several issues getting worse with the election of Trump. I don't like posting about this stuff because it gets me angry and in a worse mental state, but I hate staying quiet about it.
Trump's censoring us. If you couldn't tell by all the people and tags being banned on TikTok, open your eyes a little. If you defend him, shame on you for being ignorant.
I was going to talk about just the topic of trans men being ignored and excluded, but I changed my mind last minute. Sorry if some things don't make sense, I didn't retype everything when I changed my mind.

I recommend that everyone keep these in mind and if/when you engage with content involving recent news, INCLUDE as many people as you can when you speak. Don't just generalize people into a majority group (ex: when speaking on how the removal of information on abortions and birth control, don't just mention it affecting women.)
TLDR: Don't ignore problems just because they 'aren't that bad yet' or 'don't affect you'. Be fucking considerate of others and their well-being, but don't stress yourself out. Do what you can, when you can.
PS Please check out other content creators who go more in-depth on different topics and who likely explain things better than I ever could! It's never a bad thing to be educated. And remember, anyone can fall victim to propaganda.

Like imagine Ben's just then getting comfortable and feeling safe around Butcher and actually letting him care for him just for Butcher to turn on him when he hurt Ryan while attacking Homelander.
Ben had issues trusting people before, I can't imagine how he'd be after being yoinked outta that tube thing later on (that totally happens because I am the writer for the boys all the bad guys die and like ben, butcher, hughie, annie, mm, frenchie, kimiko, and everyone else lives happily the end)

The Boys unteach/correct his negative behaviors and help him with his addictions and get him into some healthier coping mechanisms. This takes such a long time but it's better for him in the long run
Ben loves playing with Terror, whenever he's stressed or regressed, he's like glued to that dog. Butcher might have at least 20 pictures of them cuddling in his gallery
Ben DOESN'T become an iPad kid, as funny as that would be. I think he'd be a leash kid because he's always trying to run around outside and play.
When Butcher learned that Ben actually wanted a child to take care of and love, he got him one of those green-weighted dinosaur plushies with some little outfits for it so he could still take care of something without the issues that came with having an actual child.
In the AU where Payback doesn't hate him, I feel like they'd offer to babysit or something. Idk I just want him to be happy

I haven't posted in a long time due to mental health BS but I've returned to yap about an injustice that I'm witnessing.
There's a lack of agere in The Boys community and it hurts my soul. I think I've only seen one person write out a mini story about SB and it was fantastic. I would write some myself if my brain juices weren't so drained.
Perchance I'll post HCs or something for characters if anyone responds asking for specific characters as a Christmas thing cuz it's been like a month or two since I last posted actual stuff and not just me yipper yappering about random nonsense.
