blair 1000000% got her 😒😐 vibes from her dad, even tho he´s super chill actually, a grumpy looking man who fr enjoys life and loves his wifey and daughter to bits

blair´s *mom* is the one who looks sweet, with big doe eyes and a bit of an old timey flair, but will *absolutely* throw hands if needed, that woman is a doctor and runs everything like the navy frrrrr. Also, i find it funny how she often knows blair better than she knows herself, so she clocks her then waits until she figures it out lmaooo

(blair´s a healthy character, but often very freaking dense when it comes to both herself and others, so, for example, blair never called roy and akira her "best friends", even tho she´d have no trouble admitting that, it just hadn´t *clicked* for her. her mom *will* reffer to them as her best friends and blair will be like "?!??!?! (*realizes*) oh, hm-"/pos )

also, despite his generally amicable personality, her dad does have courage and a strong sense of justice; so he initially went for a law enforcement carreer path; but the west coast area low-key hates him (they´re magic incidents georg), bc he´s immune to their usual methods of mind erasure to cover up shady happenings in the town, and generally unswayed by bribes or threats

also, it makes me so dkjsfhdkjsfhkjhf that they both can read blair just fine, cause blair isnt super expressive, and often just off doing her own thing, but she´s very prone to non verbally communicating things; her love language is prooobably acts of service and quality time, she makes it a point to sit in the livingroom like a cat, just *vibing* when they´re both home, and lightens their workload around the house whenever she can

adding to this: blair´s dad fr the type of person to be chilling with the dog at a house party, just picture this tall, permanently grumpy looking man who doesnt speak much, absolutely having a blast with the party host´s poodle who bites strangers but not him for some reason

also!!!! on my blair and akira shipping agenda ehehe, thats the INLAWS!!!! akira will be absolutely terrified of this mans, they´re not likely to exchange words for the first SEVERAL meetings, akira is internally panickign the whole time and it SHOWS!!! just the internal monologue of "IM GONNA DIE IM GONNA DIE!! HES GONNA KILL ME, YEAP, IM DEAD, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA". meanwhile, one day blair´s dad will just go "oh, akira? that´s a nice young man" despite never having exchanged words, bc actions are worth a LOT to him + akira is exactly the type to feed and pet strays, so that wins him a bunch of points hehehe <- blair´s dad TRUSTS the animal vibe checks

it's always "immortals always lose the ones they love!" and never "this family has had this incredible, powerful, loving figure present through generations of their lineage, all because they are descended from someone the immortal loved long ago" and i think that's a shame!!
